  • RAIDEN241 <--------------- Wants rape and incest made legal. If you know this person, keep your kids away from him.

  • Ron Paul for President 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for real change the American people need!!!!!!!!

  • The problem is in the constent Obfustication by the Government to conceal the real problem that is government. Till we simplyfy our laws and oust the neo cons We will continue on the road of tyrany! End the fed reinsititute the gold standard.

Return america to a self sustaining entity. If we fail to impliment these most basic necessities then we will deserve everything we get. The truth is here for all to see and those that deny it or just suffer in silence are cowards and fools.

  • @endtyrany

Well said! Our only hope is to put more libertarian type candidates in office like Paul's son running in November. I said this on another video and I'll say it here; People have to wake up and realize that we do NOT have 2 parties, we have one, it's called the Big Government Party. Democrats want welfare, higher taxes, and deficits. Republicans want wars, less civil liberties and deficits.

  • hmmm, maybe healthcare costs are due to our dollar being worth 5 cents.

  • The AMA lady threw up a distraction with the 'daughte'rs leukemia' comment.

Yes, let's insure against leukemia. That's cheap because the risk is low.

Insurance is so expensive today because we cover everything. That gives incentive for more doctor visits than we'd normally have.

Example, in Japan everyone visits the doctor for cold medicine, because it's free or subsidized. OTC drugs cost more.

That means cold care includes taking up hospital admin and physician's time. Give me a break!

  • the lady's last point makes is irrelevant. yes most doctors would agree that we need to have reform and curb the costs of medicare but she skirts around the issue! most doctors OPPOSE a public option because government would only make things worse.

  • Greatest political salesman after obama. All talk and no walk. Yeah, he got the "audit the fed bill" alright. What if it passes? The bankers will out maneuver him like they always do.

Ron paul, you did an excellent job in giving breathing space to ur bosses, You r absorber of public anger and u r fake.

Whole world now depends on real US public uprising and purging ur system.

He come's on nwo t/v bashing it's owners? Something is severely wrong here.

  • END THE FED

  • Dr. Paul has to be the most modest, gentile, down to Earth, humble man in public service today. Skye, your comments baffle me. I mean no disrespect; if you do not agree with his views, that's one thing but to call him smug is obsurd.

  • he is correct on many terms. he understands the economics of our country. i think ron paul will be right. it WILL cost more than 1 trillion, it will. the government is inflating our currency ALOT and there is still yet to be all the bills printed yet. you cant print the money with no productive output without destroying your currency. AKA the dollar. what you produce determines the value of it. But either way, free health care or not the economy is going to fail within our lifetime.

  • With no respect, you are an uninformed idiot, know nothing about Ron Paul or about health care. Multi millionaire? What a jagoff.

  • The solution is free market. Abolish the AMA, FDA, ADA, ...

Also, why not publish the prices for services beforehand so we can shop around.

If gov't wants to spend money improving healthcare they should start in the schools....bring back P.E. classes and only offer healthy foods in the cafeteria. Educate the children and encourage them to laugh at the obese and smokers...lol on that last line, but seriously.

  • You just promoted free market deregulation, anarcho-capitalism....and then supported more regulation is our PUBLIC school system. Your hardly a consistent libertarian. The true answer is deregulating all of it...throwing away public education for private. Most kids from lower socio-economic strata dont graduate anyways -so screw anyone who can't afford to play the game. They're trash anyways.

  • I said IF gov't wants to spend money...and you know they do...I agree with you though. I don't like paying taxes to send my neighbors kids to gov't run schools at all.

  • Yeah, I was joking. I have a heart. Selfish twat.

  • these people cant see that whether or not it might work, its going to cost way too much. along with giving the government more control over our lives. im reading george orwells 1984 right now, and although im not saying that were ever going to get to that point, government control is definitely heading in that direction.

  • Obama Zombies and their big govt is going to take over your health care your are pretty much screwed.

  • we're more moving into A Brave New World. you should definatly check that book out, writtin before 1984 was. its different in that say.. instead of information being held from us, we're not interested in it. instead of gov. spying on us, we give up privacy through shit like facebook. check it

  • ya thats definitely right. people dont care. and some that do dont want to take the time to learn. thanks ill check it out.

  • That middle guy is one angry dude and he's a doctor? How would you like to go to him for a checkup?

  • wouldnt doctors who are angry at the current situation tell you something?

  • doctor to patient: "BEND OVER AND COUGH!!!"

  • Once again, RP is the only one who speaks any sense!

Check out my channel for a cool vid!

  • Comment removed

  • I did not understand RP position on the constitution until I read it and it said congress has these powers and nothing more. It really made me think of how the constitution is suppose to function.

  • I love when RP debates libs. He's always pointing out that we're the largest debtor nation in history, our banks are broke, our consuemrs are drowning in debt, and the gov only cares about taxing us more as they bail out their friend on walstreet and the libs always respond with "people like to have things, so we should expand government." (apparently, the wonderful government has given us so much already we should just accept this). Who you gonna believe?

  • Thanks Ron Paul! The fools in Washington and the special interest groups have forced the USA into bankruptcy. The government is looking for a way to tax and fine the healthcare consumer and this is a way to do so. One third of the bill deals with the IRS and changes in the tax code. Are you ready to lose another 20% of your check to the feds?

  • By 1990, Medicare cost over 600% more than LBJ projected.

Most of the money spent by the healthcare lobby has been FOR Obamacare.

The AMA only represents 25% of American doctors.

Why can't we go back to an out-of-pocket system with insurance for major expenses only (like surgery and major treatments).

Google "The Whole Foods Alternative to Obamacare." It is the most reasonable plan for reform I have heard. It is the most Libertarian reform plan I have seen.

  • RON PAUL!

I love watching Ron Paul kick the but of these socialists.

Why can't CNN ever have more than 1 American on TV at a time?

  • That's 1 more than MSNBC

  • dude looks like a lady

  • lady looks like a dude!

  • she looks like she just got done smoking a blunt

  • Notice that the two speaking for socialized are Obama's personal physician and the former head of the doctors union.

    You gotta love that nepotism.

  • As a Canadian I carry socialized my health insurance card every day everywhere I go.

  • I wonder if Dr. Nielsen used to be a man.

  • On this issue it's a matter of deciding what is going to be charged to our US credit card... just as you do for yourself, balancing your checkbook. Do you chose to go to the Dr. or do you ignore that and buy some really expensive things you really don't need, that don't benefit you but rather some other persons with more money than they deserve to have as a proportion in the world. Chose what is right for you, rather than big business and the lobbying that makes you a pawn.

  • Keep your eye on the ball, the trillions given not over 10 years but just in the last 2 years to large corp. is the real wrong charge on the US credit card. Stop funding this... would be like moving out of a bigger house and into a smaller one so you could finally make that Dr. appointment and take care of your real physical health... Sorry Ron

  • I am with Ron Paul all the way except for his stand on HC. He is really about being a spend thrift totally which I am too. Except I believe that if we are going to go in debt, it should be for a token amount that is really for the people, rather than for something 10 times that to go to those who control the banks, power in the world... as well as military security complex.

  • Either way, they're bankrupting the country so either choice is a bad one. The U.S. is already bankrupt over it's head, what needs to happen is major cuts in spending so the debt can be paid off, not debating what debt is moraly correct and which one isn't.

  • please pass H.R. 676!

  • We cannot even sustain Medicare as it is, much less Medicare for everyone. We keep printing money increasing the supply and reducing its value. It will not be long before China and other nations stop buying our debt. We need changes that will help sustain our economy, not collapse it unless you want to lose our Sovereignty. We are already going to wars under UN resolutions rather than our constitution. Support HR 1207 & S 604!

  • Think about your children, grandchildren, and how they care about cost. 100 Trillion in unfunded liabilities over next ten years (GAO), current debt around 12 Trillion, with a deficit into trillions. The inflation tax alone destroys savings and reduces purchasing power. International consumption & low exports are not sustainable with a weak dollar. The economy has priority as the American people pay these international taxes (prices, global banks). One bill at a time bring HR1207 S604 to a vote.

  • go study more guyy..health care is not a right

  • LOL you are funny. All or nothing politics is a fail system of politics. The only so called rights you have in this country are. Freedom of choice and the pursuit of happiness. Morality in law is always bad. Prohibition in the 20's marijuan and cocaine in the 30's. Save education in the 50's. Save vitenam in the 70's and a drug war. Morality and laws do not mix. All of these were a complete failure and i can name others. HC is no different

  • Since you say you are well studied on these issues. you must know the govts response to the HC crisis in previous years was hippa. I am sure you realise hippa allowed insurance companies to control our hc and not doctors and i am sure you know it removed patient dc confidentality. Govt involvement didnt solve the cost issue. Why will it help now. Simple it wont. If the gov cared it would take the 250billion we spend on other countries each year and spend it on HC the fact is they dont. wake up

  • Look, you need to stop with this "Govt involvement didnt solve the cost issue, Why will it help now. Simple it won't" NONSENSE

There's a very simple solution to the problem, and it starts with getting rid of the health insurance industry. Government CAN HELP there.

Another part of the solution is to give a govt paid-for health care system lie the VA or medicare to ALL Americans. The private sector would still be in play. Govt would simply make sure people don't go bankrupt for getting sick

  • I disagree with your solutions, but prices are at the core of the debate. Industries involved: Drs, Insurance, Malpractice Ins, AMA, Rx, & more. There are dynamics involving current social programs, economics, and immigration. All directly affect healthcare cost and quality. I agree if the private sector has to compete with a gvmt insurance, the gvmt could get rid of the health insurance industry over time. Private industry cant compete with gvmt, as the gvmt does not have to make a profit.

  • the private sector doesn't belong in health care. Period. Certainly not the insurance companies.

The insurance companies don't even sell a product. "Health insurance" isn't a commodity. "Health insurance" is a racket making money illegitimately off of an otherwise perfectly natural market transaction.

Government should take over health care in the sense that it should implement a single-payer system. That would actually make everything a lot more efficient.

  • I admit I don't know much about health care systems in other countries. Is it possible to have a government run HC system that doesn't degrade the kind of service I get now? I have a so-so plan through my employer, but I don't have long waits to get routine things done. A friend in Canada with cancer had to wait 3-6 months to have surgery—much longer than friends who have had the same procedure here. That's about all I know but I'm not going to assume all other countries are the same.

  • Your talking to apes here buddy. Soul shaker's lousy logic is proof that. These are just some suburban white idiots who are super egocentric. These guys have ludwig Von Mises and Ron Paul so far up their ass....

  • Health care must be provided by someone else. You can't provide it to yourself. So by stating that healthcare is a right, you are essentially saying that you support partial slavery.

  • I won't pay a dime for this. I am setting up a website with my pay pal attached so the extremist on the left can pay my share.

  • LOL, dude you are already paying for big insurance execs big bonuses, the high cost of emergency care for uninsured, You are paying for those individuals or companies gone bankrupt because of health insurance costs etc etc.

I say get rid of medicare, vets program, child insurance programs and greedy insurance companies and have one single healthcare plan for every American and THEN you save.

  • Maybe for a year or 2, but when China, Russia, and Saudi Arabia decide to stop funding our governmental extravagances, then we'll have unmitigated disaster of the magnitude that the NHS in the UK is about to suffer. It's on the verge of collapse as are many other European nations with socialized medicine. Look at the debt levels of Norway, Sweden, the UK, etc. they're in ever worse shape than the US.

  • what value does the Health Insurance industry contribute to the US economy? They don't build or design anything, they don't contribute to science or education, they don't improve transportation or telecommunication.

What am I missing? What does the HI industry add to the economy? It seems to me that there is a $Trillion that could be better spent.

H.R. 3200: Sec 246 — NO FEDERAL PAYMENT FOR UNDOCUMENTED ALIENS

  • The real problem is that illegals have free health care, and so does anyone willing to go to the emergency room and not pay the bill. Besides that illegals have one child over here and the next thing they are getting all kinds of Social Service. If I believed the gvmy could efficiently manage a program I would support it. They know that something has to be done as Medicare has insane amounts of future unfunded liabilities. Social Security is already bankrupt because politicians spent it.

  • We really need Insurance reform, but if we can find savings, we should cut spending and put it twords our debt and reduce the deficite. Look at gov sites for all the unfunded liabilities we have. The GOA site has very bleek forcast. Rather than try to fix Medicare/Medicade, they want to turn the whole sysyem upside down. The gvmt, outside of the Military does not have a very efficient track record, and even the military is not all that efficient. The military (DARPA) does help advance science.

  • So something needs to be done, but we need to do one thing at a time. We need to get our debt and the deficit on that debt under control before anything as major as reform the entire health care system. So if you are missing anything it is that our nation already has over 100 Trillion of unfunded liabilities over the next ten years. The current debt is around 12 Trillion, and out deficit on that debt is already in the trillions. Spending has to be cut to help pay our debt.

  • Obama promised to cut fraud and abuse. Why didn't he do that day one and use the saving to cover the5% of the population who are uninsured.

Medicare/medicaid waste $1 to every $ dollars it spends. Gov. controls the resources and how they are used they set the prices for 1/2 our healthcare sector directly and the other 1/2 indirectly. THEY HAVE DONE A LOUSY JOB OF KEEPING DOWN COST. Now they want more power! No More spending. Watch the March on Washington today from 1p.m. to 3p.m. on FOX.

  • I thought it was a subtle manipulation of our perception by putting Ron Paul first and a proponent of health care last. I dont like someone messing with my subconscious. Thats my job!

  • I'm glad I can VOTE. I've read the constitution and FOR the life of me I can't find a right to healthcare. RON PAUL is right. Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security combined owe over 100 trillion dollars in unfunded liabilities. And if HR 3200 is passed our entire healthcare system will be underfunded. Resulting in rationing. It's so humanitarian of the government to bankrupt America's helathcare system. It'll be like the UK and Canada! Where Healthcare is free and you die with lots of money!

  • Are you totally blind to rationed care in the US ? Have you ever heard about rationing by income level in addition to rationing by medical condition (pre-existing condition as they call it in the US) you have ?

US system is already rationed. Removing care and services from those who cant afford it so it could be given to only those who can afford it.

The US almost at the bottom of list of industrialized nations in terms of health care

outcomes of its citizens despite spending far more.

  • Being able to identify the problem isn't proof that your solution is the best one.

  • From which perspective ? The cost per person on health care or the GDP or/and by health outcomes of citizens of a nation ?

In all accounts rest of the developed nations generally does better than the US.

He has no sanity to grasp why. Apart from that the moral argument which is beyond his grasp of reality.

He told CNN that Canadians are less free when it comes to health care. This comes from an insane person who never set a foot at a Canadian hospital or a clinic but I have.

  • The only problem with health care in the united states is the high costs. The costs would be lowered if people could buy health insurance from other states, and if doctors didn't have to worry about frivolous lawsuits constantly. It would also help if health insurance was actually insurance. Health insurance should only cover catastrophic health problems. Doctors and hospitals couldn't charge as much if insurance didn't cover everything. That's all we need.

  • The only problem with health care in the united states is the high costs

Why would not there be a huge cost when administrative and bureaucracy cost eats up up to 25-30 cents of every dollar spent on health care on totally wasteful costs like processing claims by a massive bureaucracy, marketing, bloated profits by insurance companies, multi-million dollar CEO salaries etc

In defense of insurance companies I would say this. They are there to make profit (by law) and not to make people healthy

  • Is there something wrong with the solution I offered?

  • You should know better about your system than I do since you grew up and live there.

Regardless of what Americans might do with I dont care what happens with US health care system I wont be the one to bear the brunt of cost associated with health care nor would I be the one to has to navigate the complexity of US health care system. I'm covered by our simple straight forward system.

The only thing I'm concerned about is the demonization of our system by whacked out insane people.

  • I'm just saying that he isn't wacked out or insane.

  • I'm a Canadian, but think our system has inherent flaws as well. The government deliberately keeps waiting lists long in order to prevent use. In many cases they are literally waiting for people do die before they are operated on in order to reduce costs. A two tier health care system would be ideal, in my view. Giving rich people the option of paying for their treatment at private clinics would do a lot to remedy the problem.

  • Canadians already have a two tiered health care system. If the public system can't give someone what they need or want, they can always go to the States and pay for it out of pocket.

  • Not only the States, but China and Cuba aswell. People here pay over 25,000 to 30,000 in order to get treatment overseas because the waiting lists are so long that they have a better chance of dieing by getting treated in Canada.

  • Then why did the Canadian supreme court rule that the provisions of the system that make private care illegal are unconstitutionla precisely because people are dying on waiting lists?

  • For starters I am not a fool. I am highly educated. Second, you need to give people time to make it through the learning curve. Ron Paul is helping ignorant Americans get up to speed with what has happened to our country. Thank you.

  • Exactly

  • Actually I know my country pretty well, thankyou, and the fact that I know someone who got treated overseas for these exact reasons renders your post moot.

  • Lol, right old fella.

You clearly don't know half as much about Canada as you think you do and since you're on the internet you think you assanine opinions are just as valid as those opinions of people who do work in and understand healthcare.

Unfortunately they aren't and I would bank on the fact that you have never worked in healthcare since you are so ignorant.

Also moot doesnt apply to posts twit, please try to learn the proper use of words you try to string together.

  • "you think you assanine opinions are just as valid as those opinions of people who do work in and understand healthcare". After reading this, the kettle calling the pot black comes to mind, talk about bad english, yeesh. Atleast english is not my primary language, I have that as an excuse, what's yours? I may not have worked in healthcare, but I have alot of relatives that do. Aslo, try stepping down from your self-righteous pedestal for 2 seconds, the view is still pretty good down here.

  • Why should we worry about those who can afford to seek treatment in the nation with the most expensive health care costs ?

  • We shouldn't worry about those who can afford to seek such treatment. It the ones who can not afford it that I worry about.

  • Having to go to another country means they dont have a two tiered system

  • I am against the government getting more control of heath care, as our current system is broke. Our government (all parties) could not even leave the funds in Social Security. As far as high cost, you have a good point, and another factor is how people (illegals & citizens) use some emergency rooms as their insurance, as they cannot be turned away. Then they never pay their bill. Some do not even provide their real name. We need reform, but we need to focus on our debt and the deficit first.

  • the networks are stonewalled into that format because If Dr.Paul was given a proper forum and could debate/debunk their claims he'd expose the giant holes in their statements. By the way don't you love seeing the uninformed squirm when Dr. Paul calls them

Personally I think we do need health care reform but we need an overhaul of the planning to the tune of having the doctor's work with congress directly so we can hammer out what is needed and how to supply it in a secure and efficient manner.

  • Ron Paul is a stone faced liar. Has he ever wondered why Canada and the every industrialized nation except the US has national health insurance program in one form or the other ?

I'm kinda convinced that an insane person do tend to see rest of the world as insane while he see himself as the only sane person.

  • So you think he's insane because he doesn't want to jump on the bandwagon? Maybe he just knows that there's a better solution.

  • Insanity prevents him from doing anything sane which is pretty obvious.

  • Hey Bastard, just the presence of a program does not make one country better or worse. Availability of health care does. You are the stone-faced fucktard who wants other people to pay for your dirty health. Jackass. Stay in Canada, filthy rogue.

  • God bless Dr. Paul...

Cause this little blurb session sucked. He went first and got wrecked due to the fact that he couldn't counter these two pimps.

  • dr paul has the right medicine to fix our country......god bless ron paul

  • Go Dr. Paul! Go!

  • The AMA lady said the current system doesn't work if your daughter gets leukemia.

    Who's fear mongering now?

St Jude's Research Hospital in TN is the best in the country for children like that, and you do not pay the balance after insurance. If you have no insurance, you pay nothing.

They even put the families up for free in the Ronald McDonald House during the child's hospital stay.

Why does no one ever mention these things?

  • I'm sorry, did that guy just say doctors need to organize for their own shafting!?!?!?!

  • congressman paul is very articulate in this video. kudos, ron!

too bad he never had the opportunity to put the socialists in their place!

  • That's funny, if anyone of us spend money we don't have, we'll all be broke in a heart beat.

  • Health care costs would be lowered by elminating Medicare/Medcaid and allowing interstate compeition with health insurance.

  • You know...it shocks me that we as country are so fucking stupid. You want to solve the healthcare, open more mother fucking medical schools. It is a simple problem of supply and demand. Don't be so fucking stupid and not adress the real problem: American Medical Association. I can't believe these fucking idiots are allowed to be doctors and to spew shit that makes so fucking sense.

  • Hey Nancy and David, What part of being BROKE do you not understand?

  • so Ron Paul is not against free health care .. he just thinks its going to cost to much...

i think if they got money for wars why not health care

  • Thats the point he was making we dont have money for wars or health care.

  • they shouldn't be in wars to begin with

  • Yeah but Ron Paul is strongly opposed to american foreign occupation ,

  • how is it free if they need to jack up taxes to pay for it?

you'll end up paying for it in some way , it won't be free

  • crappy show, no debate.

  • I want the same health care that my elected officials have

  • then get a job and buy it. I want a private jet, but I don't want Uncle Sam to tax you to pay for it.

  • The ACLU lady is right on...IF WE WERE SOCIALIST! I'm not one and I have no want to be one. More people should listen to Ron Paul. If we are to fix our country then we need to listen to him. Otherwise we listen to lies as we head down that socialist road and the American Revolution and all those deaths were for nothing. Remember there were reasons and it wasn't because we didn't want to pay taxes.

  • what is wrong with socialism? it's working in a lot of european countries, hell, they are topping the "happiest countries" list.

  • Morally it is wrong because government claims ownership of all capital indirectly and lets you keep a % of it.

Economically it is wrong. Europe is an optical allusion. the states monopolizing and inflationary banks fund the wasteful programs though inflation. This will come to an end. You will see.

By the way... By definition america is closer to socialism then it is capitalism. It amazes me that people blame all the problems of socialism on capitalism.

  • isn't it spelled optical illusion?

you don't have to use everything the government provides you in a socialist country, in the mixed economies of Europe, you are allowed to consume private-funded goods/services.

  • This Ron Paul guy is spot on.

  • Yes he is.

  • What a waste of an interview. Why have 3 people on for 4 fricken minutes. News channels are retarded.

  • nobody signed the bill to eliminate medicare

  • Ron Paul is right, but the system needs to be scrapped, not tinkered with further. Let's let freedom reign, not government regulation and corporatism.

  • I Love watching Ron Pauls face when the other two speak because i know what the doctor is thinking and it makes me laugh as well LMAO! Ron Paul is the Only one that makes sense!

  • Health insurance isn't auto insurance, and we don't need to 'share the risk' with health insurance.

  • America: please elect this dude as president before everything goes to hell. Thank you.

  • if we didn`t have so many doctors and pills and mass produced food we would not have so many asholes in the world .......like me population control is easy just don`t keep people alive .........die of starvation......it is the way it used to be when we had a healthy earth

  • So many people in high places have such a warped view of reality.

  • I wish Dr. Paul had more time to speak.

  • Ron Paul is absolutely right. State health care is the shortest path to shoddy medical treatment. Obama is a lunatic.

  • yeah but shoddy medical treatment is better than no treatment. and those who HAVE insurance can choose to stay with that. just my 2 cents.

  • but the people who choose to pay for thier private insurance will be paying for both thier private insurance and the next man that cant afford it, why is that so hard to understand? this system will not work why is that hard to understand can anyone tell me any logic? Ron Paul is Right Bottom Line!

  • I dont understand. u mean taxes? Paul is right about the need for lowering costs by competetion. but doesnt the option help do that? isnt there also government regulation in the upcoming bill?

  • no the government option does the oposite of that because when big government comes in and says there is more affordable health care to people who cant afford it but the government is the people, that means the people pay for others health care, but the government doesnt own anything at all! The people are the ones paying for others who cant afford it. this destroys competition because if this keeps up there will be no more private health care to compete they will go out of business.

  • I see. but there should be some kind of regulation I feel. too much greed in the private sector as well. there should atleast be no more "Technical" excuses to deny coverage.

  • No it doesn't.

  • Why do socialists always look so pissed off?

  • Maybe its because they are constantly clouded by a smog of their own moral flatulence. I.e., their shit dont stink like ours does.

  • BTW, as I prepare to escape this country to Sweden I've learned that the Sweds are slowly moving away from their much sought after cradle to grave welfare state. Private insurance and practices are back in the picture and successful. The Sweds were going broke. Atleast they had the sense not to go bankrupt.

  • personally i'm just pissed that we are saddled with the idea that the healthcare industry while making huge profits are expecting to increase thier proftis in this plan! while the average wages of americas drop more and more! We can't afford it now how can we afford increases on!

  • Don't these folks know how to do math?

Hard to believe these doctors can't wrap their minds around simple economics. They obviously believe in voodoo and will wonder why the dollar crashed causing the masses to loose all health care, let alone feed themselves.

  • RON PAUL RULES !!!!!!!

  • It is not my responsibility to pay for other people's health care.

  • Simple and to the point ... that is the core of the issue. You are correct.

  • the elite are collapsing the economy on purpose, they do this public health care including many other things to make sure the economy will collapse. They will not change their mind no matter how much you protest, it will happend. Just prepair for it.

  • Comment removed

  • I love that rich people are fighting so that the poor can have healthcare. I'm sure that they are not trying to get something for themselves out of this.

  • two in favor and one against with no rebuttal, not quite a discussion or debate. They could have just wrote down their comments and sent them in to be read.

  • "We need it. We need it. We need it. It interferes."

"It is time we get everyone insured."

Bunch of half-truths that I am sure Ron Paul could absolutely shred them on if he was given the chance.

  • Once the free health care is en-force. Who is going to pay for it?. not the working class, because the gov is sending our job over seas. The people will see a huge TAX increase to cover FREE/RIP-OFF health care. since the people will have no money from un-employment , The program will see limited cash flow, which will cause lifes to fail due to no faith/money, like the leader of the nation.

  • I wish Ron Paul would have had the rebuttle for the Republicans after the speech.

  • And the ditzy bimbo says "Oh but Obama said blah blah blah"

HOW do you know if a politician is lieing ???

    His lips are moving!

  • healthcare...chemical pharmicudicals, we need natural remedy's and more companies competing for the consumer, the only reason medical cost so much is because its all man made, we've had remedies for many years that only require 3 things water, sunshine and soil, the reason things cost so much is because we don't practice natural methods, natures perfection is are answer, no need for ridiculous side effects from by-products its about having knowledge, true knowledge people WAKE UP! Be educated!

  • Im a die hard Libertarian and I believe in smaller govt..... but.... I do believe that we need help with our health care. All it takes is one trip to the hospital and then having to deal with the insurance companies and you'll find out first hand how mean and cruel they can be. I want to help my fellow citizen with their health care. I hate taxes, but this one I'm more than willing to pay. I voted for Dr. Paul in 04.

  • You would sacrifice every one else's hard work without their consent so you can feel better? You are no Libertarian.

The True Libertarian would form his own co-op and not use government at all to get it done.

You are a Hypocrite of the worst kind. You claim to be a Libertarian, but you're just another moral relativist populist. Find another name for yourself.

  • FIne, i'll just vote Democrat from now on.

  • I fact, I don't see why each US state can't implement it's own healthcare plan without it being federally imposed. It's obviouse certain liberal states want it and conservative states don't. Doesn't massachusettes (can't spell this sorry) have it's own universal health care? Somewhere like Texas can then have it's own private health care system. Just an idea.

  • fordeee2000 I can agree with idea. State by state on all the issues is the way to go. Thank you for the civil reply. PistoleroJesse you can suck my dick.

  • I mean seriously, wouldn't this be best solved state by state? It's not sweeping the issue under the carpet, it's letting each state decide what type of system it wants. Imposing one thing on everyone is always going to have ramifications. If your sick and have no insurance you can travel to a state where there is universal healthcare. If your sick and you have good private insurance you can travel to a state where you can recieve the very best money can buy.

  • I can agree to a state by state handling of the issue.

And the least you could do is answer a civil tongue lashing with another civil tongue lashing. There is no need for vulgarity is there? And if my words stung so bad, maybe they were on the mark....

  • uhh ok
