I was born in 1978(33 years old) but they ran this show I guess in syndicated reruns because I remember watching it when I was a kid in the early to mid 80's. I used to love this show but didn't remember the intro, thanks for nostalgia.

spectreman 2 was the first videoclub flick i rented as a lil child, and i remember it soooo damn well... due to my lack of conscience i rented it again coz i thought i first saw/rented the first one!! i will never forget this movie (now i know it was a series as well :D )

Whenever I try to ask if anyone remembers this, I always have to say "no, not "Ultraman". A different Japanese show called "Specterman"". Awesome memories; although, as a child, I found this series to be slightly disturbing. LOL
