i don't know about "should've", but I do remember Zadick counting the lights a lot against Ohio U freshman, Percival.
As for this match, no doubt he earned this win. Zadick wrestled the best tourney of his life. Not many can claim to have taken down Batirov, let alone, beat him.
please dont give the credit to russians, russia has the best wrestling team but alll the good the wrestlers in the russian national team are from caucasus, yea the place that most of the russians hate but they can go die because our people are the ones who always get medals for russia in all the fighting sports (wrestling, boxing, judo...),
after all good match i have respect for this American guy who defeated one of the best wrestlers in the world
zadick was clearly the better here, baitrov did nothing even got the clinch and couldn't finish, just shows what happens if russia doesn't get the leg in the clinch.
say what you want about this match, the Russians are head and shoulders better than anybody right now, and the Americans have taken a dive especally after not metaling for in this years worlds for the first time in forever, while the russians metaled at every weight in freestyle and did well in greco.
An Mavlet beats Zadick 4 out the 5 times they wrestling probably.
Batirov wasn't at his best when he lost to Zadick considering he was ajusting to the 60kg up from 55kg which is what he wrestled in 2004. plus if they were to wrestle 10 times, batirov would win at least 7 times considering he's refined his style perfectly and it won him the gold in 2007 and 2008
@dreamtheater132 I agree kudukhov would beat cejudo, faster, stronger, better technique, he has shown consistently he is the best, he just had a really bad olympics.
sounds and looks like when he was younger he was good wrestler and when he got older he got bad i dont my opinion guys sorry mike fans
