@malgratense you are just proving my point, so Catalonia is not a country and Scotland is. You probably ignore Catalan and Scottish parties are joining forces in their aim to have a state. SNP and ERC and SI are working together, they even share some political ideologists and they are planning how to have a referendum.

Studies and surveys have lately proved pro independence people in Catalonia surpass the people who would vote against it, in fact the option in favour in a possible referendum doubles the option against. So Catalonia is not a country

btw right now the majority of Catalans are in favour of independence due to overtaxation, Catalan players in the Spanish national team are in favour of it too and they even voted in a simulacrum of referendum, a real one is forbidden in Spain. They would prefer to play in a Catalan team rather than in a Spanish team and they are used and insulted. All those issues are obviously unimportant to some people, that is why Franco's ideas are still alive in Spain.
