What did u do to treat Bella at home? I believe my dog has Parvo now but I honestly have NO money to get her vetrinary care :'[
Im a single mother of 2 young teenagers & am taking classes at the local community college so I haven't a single dollar to my name. If u know of ANY home remedies, plz plz PLZ share.. We're desperate to save Chloe's life. PLZ help! :'[
I lost my dog today i am so angry at the viruses the dogs have and we dont' i hated to see my dog like that but he was fighting alot to save himself i wished dogs could live forever I LOVED MY DOG BILLY SO MUCH !
I think is kind of irresponsible just to put your dog on fluids like this without knowing exactly what parameters are you taking care, Dog with parvo have hypokalemia, Hyponatremia, Hypocloremia, or could even be hypernatremic in some cases in top of this hypoglicemia is another factor to consider before to do IV teraphy and offcourse the fluid rate that you are using you can easy overload a patient with fluids causing edema in his lungs!! so becareful youtube viewers look 4 veterinarian!!!
My dog just got this a week ago, we decided to take him home tomorrow because we feel like his situation is getting worse and worse staying at the hospital.... but I am not sure we can get the thing to keep him hydrated...
Please email me more information. The hospital is asking us to keep our dog for 3 days costing about $1,000 that I don't have. My kids are crying to save our dog. The vet administer some fluids and send me home with meds. I'm sure she's gonna need more fluids intravenous. Please help
our dog is a chihuahua and is losing weight he can't get up by him self and cant drink water on his own we feed him with a baby bodle but he cant keep any of it down he is very weak and has a sad look on his face that just kills us to see if any body knows what he actulally might have please send me an email
karely-jasso@live.com we are trying our best but we dont know what is wrong with buddy please help us help him!
my 6 weeks old puppy is suffering from diarrhea and vomiting, he has worms too...when i got him he was not vaccined...took him to the vet and he diagnosed parvo..he was not having blood in his stool or puke..please guide whether he is going to survive or not..
we lost our liitle ones to parvo also , we miss them and the they suffer is horrible. Their has to be something for this out there. Some one once said to use peptobismo and antibiotics. The peptobismos for the intestines to coat and relieve, and the antibiotic is for the infection or virus. Im not too sure how accurate this is but if any ones reading this comment me or watch our video "My little ones in heaven"
my Dog died yesterday from parvo :( i got him on 19th dec...rushed to vet on 20.....He was doing well on 21 i thought he would recover but on 22nd he died..It was my first pet....it was a black GSD.i miss him a lot :'(
Parvaid works. It has saved many puppies. Read tesimonials at wolfcreekranch. All organic herbal tonic that has been a blessing for me for years. We rescue puppies so I have it on hand. As soon as I see a lethargic pup I emmediately give it Parvaid once an hour until puppy eats or drinks on its own. It's all natural and won't hurt puppies. For dehydration you might need cooked chicken liver blended with pedialyte in an enema for sick puppies. It saves their lives...pinch of sugar for blood too
Thanks for your video, i had a pup passed a month ago. We now have another from same breeder, plus she kept her for us up to 13wks of age and through her 3rd round of shots, the last one died at 7wks. only had 1st set. now this pup has diarrhea and it freaked me out. she is at the vet, who says test came back negative., but would like her to saty so she can watch her. like you say " Every body aint got 2000 +plus dollars to treat at vet clinics. it is expensive and who ever said its not lied,
@BelgianMalinoisfreak OMG are you serious? Where are you getting your information? The vaccine is a killed virus. There is no way a parvo shot will give your dog parvo. It takes 3-15 days after coming in contact with the virus before showing symptoms. Sorry but your dog probably had it before it got a shot. They need a series of shots. 1 at 6 wks. 1 at 9 wks 1 at 12 wks. 1 at 15wks. they need at least 4 shots and some vets give a series of 5. If vaccinated correctly pet will be healthy.
@delindadycus This is my 4th dog that has gotten parvo two dalmatians (they both were killed), one belgian malinois (survived), and a mix (had forever intestinal damage). All of these dogs had their shots and a few days later about 4-5 they had parvo. All of our dogs who have not had the shot have not had parvo. I am not a vet I don't know if you are but in my experience every time my dog gets a shot they end up with that disease about 5 days later (this has not only happened with parvo).
@BelgianMalinoisfreak Before bringing home a new pup did you thoroughly disinfect your home and property with bleach? Because if you didn't, then the virus would still be in your home and property and that would be where the dogs picked up the virus.
@AngelWings3 look I'm not stupid. First the puppies we got them years apart from each other so they couldn't have gotten them from each other. Second I did use bleach on EVERY item the dog touched 3 times and I disinfection it. Third two of the puppies were in a different house than the one we live in now.
@BelgianMalinoisfreak heeey, relax, I wasn't indicating you were stupid. I was just asking. Sorry to hear you've had so much problems with Parvo. It's a horrible virus.
this morning my mom discovered that my dog zeus had shit blood and thrown up some foomey stuff so we took him to the animal clinic and they gave him an IV they told us he had parvo and possibly rabies as well curitosy of the fruit bats that live nearby
I know you think you're so clever by 'beating the veterinarian', but the vaccine for this is rather inexpensive...there is no reason ANY dog should have to suffer through this disease. Any decent dog owner would protect their pet in the first place.
@labral1 Oh believe me, I'm not trying to be clever. She's been fully vaccinated, but unfortunately the little stinker somehow consumed a large amount into her system that the vaccines couldn't beat. I'm a 100% believer in fully vaccinating your pets, and she was. I wasn't "beating the vet" with this procedure. I was saving her life, and saving us $2000+, and it worked!
@AngelWings3 hey i checked all the vet clinics and i went to petsmart becuz my dog was in really bad shape. ill i got charged was 563.00 inluded all her shots and ivs ect. and she stayed for 4 days at the vet. just so you know.
@labral1 I just weaned my puppy from her mother and gave her the first dose of shots and she still contracted Parvo. There is a period of time when a puppy is still susceptible because the immunities from the mother wear off before the vaccines build up in their body. One shot does not cover it
Not to be a snot or anything, but the vaccine for this is rather inexpensive and is a LOT less stressful on your pet. How sad that your dog had to go through this.
Hey I have a question, my 5month old pitbull (21lbs) got parvovirus, I'm giving him pedialite every hour about 12ml, that's what the vet said, should I give him more, also he dosent want to eat, is there something I can give him? Also I hear pepto bismol is good?
@simon4226 I've been trained, and I've had plenty of experience. You can rupture a vein if you pick one that cannot handle the needle stick. Know what a bruise is? That's basically a rupture vein, or termed as a Burst capillary. If a large vein, such as the jugular in your neck, ruptures, you could die. Even if an artery is ruptured, you may not die. I would rather possibly (unlikely) cause a bruise, than let my dogs suffer and die from this horribly painful virus.
@birdman5050 my 2 month pit bull has had parvo now for 6 days and i dont konw if hes gona make it he can walk and hevery thing but hes super thin but im giving her treatment and does anybody know if hes gona make it?
@birdman5050 Sorry to hear. That is true, it's the dehydration that kills them! Vets just want you to spend your money on them. Goodluck with Milou. If you need any advice, let me know, I'll send you a private message.
call a vet, you can get a catheter their, some will install it for you, that is if you can find a nice one. just tell them you don't wont to put the puppy in a strange enviroment, to put stress on the dog, and you can give it 24 hour care.
Mrs. Angelwings we have three puppies out of 6 getting parvo I believe could I get some info on how to keep them hydrated my girlfriend is an MA so she is injecting them with vitamins and we are feeding them pedialite please help
well it was 3 days of hell but she made it. she is drinking water and is now at this very moment eatin like a horse. i kept her hydrated and was givin her vitamins. i kept it in my head that i was not goin to give up. Thanks your video and message helped i will send a picture of destiny
hey, they diagnose my toy poodle with parvo 3 days ago. and like i couldnt afford the 1700 clinic after a lot of research i decide to fight for my puppy and made a home treatment with parvaid , vivactra, pedyalite and peptobismol, after the 1 day she ate and play a lot but in the 2 day she relapse, and was sick all day, the 3 day she was sleep all the time, but around midnight started playin and even bark, please send me a message cuz i have a lot of questions about the treatment of bella
if u cant afford the clinic the do the home treatment its hard and tired but if u love ur puppy try it. i did multiple research and after 3 days mi pup its a lil better. at least am figthing for him.
Parvo can't be cured by any prescription drugs. It is a virus and has to be waited out. What kills the dog is dehydration. Keep your dog hydrated using pedialyte, IV fluids if you can, water. Administer 30 mins to hourly!
hey my chihuhua has parvo and im very sad i dont know what i can do best for her. I hope you can help me. I already took her to the vet on thursday and she just gave her some medicine and some amoxicillin for me to give her evrey 12 hrs, but ever since i brought her home she looks worse.....she has a lot of blood coming out from her but and it smells awfull. I have been cleaning her and today is sunday so she has had this disease for 4 days already. I hope she lives, can you please help me ???
Hey.I managed to get the Sodium Chloride solution from a nearby Hospital, & the IV drip. I hooked her up to the Drip & put an IV into her veins, which is what hydrated her the best way cuz it was going directly into her system.
See if you can buy some from your hospital. Then look on Youtube on how to set up the IV drip.
