  • WHY COULDNT VELVET REVOLVER OR AUDIOSLAVE OR THE FOO FIGHTERS OR GREEN DAY COVER THIS GREAT SONG? :)

  • THE RIGHT WAY TO PLAY KICK OUT THE JAMS ISNT TOO SLOW OR TOO FAST

INSTEAD, IT SHOULD BE PLAYED WITH THE SOUND OF A REVOLUTION, SO

IN OTHER WORDS, NOT LIKE THE HELLACOPTERS OR PEARL JAM BUT LIKE RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINES VERSION :D

BUT THE MC5 DID IT FIRST, IT JUST SHOULD OF BEEN RECORDED ON A STUDIO ALBUM PLAYED AT THE RIGHT SPEED

  • WHY DIDNT THE MC5 MAKE THIS SONG THIS VERSION? AND PUT IT ON RECORD ! NOT RECORD IT LIVE , BUT PRODUCE IT WELL :) AS THE STUDIO VERSION

  • Holy shit, this is as good as the original.

  • Dang, He is like wooden compared to Kramer.

  • jojjojojojojoj the guardians of rock and roll covering the kings this is the best thanks for this video

  • This is the RIGHT version :) its fast and furious and punk rocking enough to be as good as the original by THE MC5

  • @jetsonic69 Never as good as MC5. Never!

  • Made my day

  • Incredible sound...Pure Rock!!

  • shitty solo.

  • posers with nice fuckin hats

  • U2 is a bunch of tree huggin faggotts

  • @marcelomoll a gente tem que fazer cover de Kick Out The Jams. todo mundo faz e eu não sei dizer porque

  • respect !!!!!

    great cover

id like to see u2 tackle this or them cunts oasis ,, this is the real stuff fuckers !!!!

  • Lame crowd.

  • who the hell are the hellacopters

  • @allegedretribution swedish rock n fucking roll mother fucker!!!!

  • awesome band from Schweden. the cover wasn't bad, prefer the live video 72' of the Great MC5 in France. ROCK ON!

  • Nicke should have used his Mosrite.......

  • Nicke should have used his Clandestine-era growl for this cover. Woulda been awesome.

  • Of course it isn't. No one will be able to sing it like Rob Tyner. But he managed to kick the shit out of this jam.

  • they play it pretty good. but the voice of the singer ist not filthy enough.

  • Klatscheroprter...u got that shit head on that guy dont know bout no moror city grit....dude from mc5 had a crazy ugly dirty flithy voice. that shits gotta be sung with some balls. this guy prolly gets a pedicure

  • @MOTORCITYROCKERZ

    You're outta line.

Nicke Andersson can sing this song in any fucking way he wants. That's what it's all about.

And besides, no one will ever be able to replicate Tyners vocals anyways. So what's your problem?

  • tell that to the mc5 who used nicke as as singer on their show, fuck you

  • @MOTORCITYROCKERZ

u need to do some research on the Hellacopters, friend.

  • @MOTORCITYROCKERZ Absofuckinglutley! You need to gargle glass and gas to rip this rocker!

  • @MOTORCITYROCKERZ I think that's just his version of the song. He did vocals for a whole Entombed record - as well as drums - so I guess he's got some "grit" after all ;)

  • These guys MUST get back together. I require it.

  • Fuck they Kicked em out!

    WE DIG THAT SHIT

  • I love the Hellas and I love the MC5, props for covering a great song but I have to say I don't think Nicke's voice is a good match for this track. It's still OK just not up there with their usual bad assness. I would love to hear the Hellas play this with the lead singer of Baby Woodrose, now that would be fresh.

  • Makes me wanna rockkkkkkk!!!!!!!!! ;-)

  • they hammer like MC 5

  • Damn, these Swedes can rock!

  • gorgeous

  • jumps?

  • I think it´s the best cover of all !!!

  • I love this.

  • I'm not going to flame this, but I'm just confused as to the 'why.'

  • This is cool. Never thought I'd see Nicke Andersson doing this type of music, but it sure is cool. Burns that whiny RATM cover to the ground.

  • i personally disagree, but so many bands have re-done this song, they put their own take on it. This is the best, i think

  • it's pretty good, but i prefer pearl jam and mudhoney doing this, jeff buckley is pretty good, too, but the original just kicks ass!

  • Pearl Jam?...are you serious...? They can't touch these guys with a 10 ft. pole...tooooooo hot 4'm man!

  • I tihnk this one's the best cover of this song I've heard. Nice surprise there for me :)

  • this singer does not do this song justice.

  • Blue Oyster Cult do the best cover of this song

  • the sound is sooo good!

  • yes they do!hellamuthafuckincopta's!

  • Hot Shit! These guys fraggin ROCK!

  • Not bad, not bad.

  • well this is the best cover ,ever.Excellent.

  • can't beat the original mc5,raw energy and fresh.

  • haha I will see them today .. 4 hours left!

  • i like this cover,fast and energy

  • This song have a lot of covers 8D

Hellacopters, Silverchair, RATM, Jeff Buckley...the original by MC5 is the best \o

  • @DookieMestrebug It's a fucking belter of a tune. Everyone should cover this

  • @DookieMestrebug

Don´t forget Pearl Jam and Monster Magnet!

  • oh ja. Synd bara att det är bye bye för dem nu :( :(

  • motor city five for ever

  • That feedback is insane.

  • That´s Rock´n´roll

And the Epiphones Are so cool

Radio Birdman and MC5 used these too

    Cherrs!!!

  • fuck yeah bro me and my band are working on a cover of this song

yes we are covering a cover haha

but its gonna be kick ass

  • im really wondering what kind of epiphones they are using...

  • crestwood is the name of this epiphone type

  • the best of cover of this song is Silverchair... by FAR

  • WTF???!! Silverchair is a JOKE, ya got Creed in you're collection too???

It does NOT get any better than this in the rock world.

    Motor 76

  • cmon... silverchairs versions kinda maggot

  • jeff buckley did a AMAZING and the best cover of this song

  • kick out the jams motherfuckers ....

  • the best cover of this song I think I've seen

  • Blue Oyster cult did a kickin' version of this song. Check out their Some Enchanted Evening album.

  • I agree. If anyone wan'ts to check the Blue Oyster Cult version I've uploaded a video.

  • Oh damn it... they rocks too much!!!

  • yeahh toooo muchh hahaha

  • *sighs* I think I'm in love...

  • Props to the orginators, the MC5!

  • hellacopters fuckin best 2008 r0ck band

  • there cover is good but i rekon that the rage against the machine cover is better but i give them propps for giving 1 hell of a show its great ace 5/5 XD

  • A swedish band :)

  • Aaaah, this is so awesome!

  • they ended their last concert in DC with this song. and guess what? DC is jake starr from adam west's home city. he came up on stage to sing it with the hellacopters, amazing! no better way to end a concert, they always deliver, even if the crowd turn out sucked! (which it did)

  • Klingelstreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeich

  • Not bad, not bad at all. His voice is keeping it just a wee bit grounded...just a bit. Rob Tyners' vocals on this song were able to send it straight into orbit. Still a kick ass cover though!

  • The Hellacopters announced they would be breaking up after releasing their 7th full length album and touring Europe and Scandinavia one last time

  • @lucasmoreira I died a little inside the instant I heard they'd be breaking up. The were one of the few modern bands who kept Rock and Roll alive and kicking!

  • KOTJ is a friggen hard song to sing without wanting to pass out, but oh so rockin!

  • Man, I love this band. I could listen to them forever. They have a vintage sound that is untouchable.

  • i would go as far to say that this is the best cover version of kick out the jams ive seen on here! its as close as you could get to the mc5 original! i'll just wait for someone to prove me wrong now!!!

  • MC5 are awesome. Pusa? No way. Watch the original MC5 and see how awesome the original is. Hellacopters do it well. They are a great band.

  • No words can describe how awesome this band is. I adore these men. Incredibly talented.

  • This a cover of PUSA, but still a good cover

  • a cover of PUSA???? dumbass...ever heard of the MC5??? holy crap...you are dumb

  • listen to the first album of PUSA, where not gonna make it is their track

  • hm at the beginning they really suck, but at the end when everyone finally got the tempo its alright..

  • I think that they are really good in the beginning

  • yesss baby

  • Jeff buckleys cover is much better

  • Sorry but are ya fuckin' kiddin' me???

  • why would I?

  • I guess you wouldn't.

  • I guess I wouldnt. I doubleposted.

  • Cool, have a good one.

  • Tack detsamma.

  • Du ar valkommen!

  • Har du flyttat till USA?

  • I -87 sa flyttade jag over hit.

  • Coolt. Varför?

  • check out jeff buckleys version

  • To damn great to be for real!

  • swedish

  • u2 and oasis havent got the guts or the pedigree to deal with this standard

it would find em out for what they are not !!

  • The beginning made me nervous (his really... unenthusiastic butchering of the KEY intro), but the cover was pretty good.

  • wow

  • Come on hellacopters!!! kick out the jam!!!

  • these guys have got more heart than that twat bono moaning about his next door nighbours having an open fire - the cunt lives in a 7 and half million pound joint

why dont he just kill himself and i can rejoice !!

  • Some people in the crowd aren't even looking.

  • viva Brazil

  • it wasnt u2 or oasis or fucking any other trendy ass less fakes who got invited to play with the REAL MC5 in london at the recent tribute

    it was these guys !!!

what does that tell you ??

    even Lemmy was there

these guys are first division ROCKERS and the intro was fine cunt face !!

  • awesome!

  • Little wonder Entombed covered this as Nicke used to play drums in Entombed prior he formed Hellacopters & "Kick Out..." was in the last record he did with Entombed...

  • I am american, and I have to say, I totally agree with what you said. The Swedish death metal's sound just seems like it's stayed in 1990 and never left compared to american style. Definetely the main reason I like it so much more. But, good american bands aren't non-existent...just very scarce and far inbetween. America had it's turn to dominate music with 70's rock. Now it's Scandinavia's turn to rule the world wide modern rock scene, I think.

  • Heh, Entombed has a pretty good version of this song too. If not with a bit heavier sounds :)

  • these guys are really good and i was really surprised that they are from sweden, because of sucker europe, fuckin swedish death metal bands and the hives so far i thought that swedish doesn't have the capability of making good and quality music genetically but these guys changed my mind

    Keep on rockin,the hellacopters!!!

i am really looking forward to see you in Turkiye.

  • youve got to be kidding me, sweden has amongst the great rock band ive ever come across. do a little more research before you judge and entire countrys music on one mainstream band that everybodys heard of.

  • yeah, the european audience sucks... only in southamerica we lives the real rock&roll

  • the audience sucks!

  • JAH! sweden ftw! Hellacopters äger som fan!

  • ledsen hella! nomads i hultsfred är oslagbart....

  • you know...i just realized how lucky i was to see the hellacopters do this song in washington dc WITH the datsuns AND jake starr singing. 9 men on stage, jesus christ, the jams were definetely kicked the fuck OUT!!!

  • it´s time to kick out the jams, motherfuckers!

  • >> no son brutales>> son tremendos>> kick out for ever brothers & sisters

  • good post, ive been having a hell of a time trying to find that rock am ring dvd...grrrr.

  • great cover!

  • westdeutscher rundfunk... koah, die wissn was gut is :)
