  • You can also use shelf liners as shoe padding and outsole grips!

  • I love your outfit Ö

  • You can get that shelf liner (in a ton of different colors) for 99 cents a roll at the 99 Cents Only stores here in the US.

  • you probably hear this often, but I'm gonna say it anyway.....You are soo hot! And I totally love your voice. Also very talented!

  • This technique will save me a lot of money and heartache lol! Thanks!!

  • Did you make that funky scarf thingy you're wearing? That's so cool! Where did you get it (if you didn't make it)?

  • My palettes don't do that so

  • Wow, so simple! Thank you!!

  • hot.

  • hey you actually look kinda cute!

  • Do you have magnets on the back of the blushes, or are they loose?

  • You are the best I have watched all ur vids keep it up

  • What is this you're wearing? Looks so cool (:

  • Amg, this is EXACTLY the tip I've needed! I was totally upset to find out that after moving a few days ago, several of the shadows in my MAC palettes had broken and run into my other colors. I was totally devastated. I can't wait to try your tip now, so I hopefully don't run into the issue again in the future! Thank you!

  • Really nice tip! Very helpfull!

  • your voice is hypnotizing <3

  • this was definitely one of the most helpful tips!

  • I dont even wear makeup but watching you and your excellent techniques, clear instructions, friendly demeanor makes me want to. I love your organizational skills!

  • You are so cute ^^

  • Very helpful Josh :)

  • lol I was using layers of tissue before -but I think it'd actually be alot better to pick up a roll of this stuff. Seems easier to work with

  • I am so happy to find this trick because I although I carry all my palettes in a roller case to see clients my palettes keep getting trashed. I am going on a flight and I was so.... worried even though I am going to pack my palettes between my clothes that they were going to be ruined but now Im sure they will make it there and back with no problem. Thank you so..... much.

  • MY LAST NAME IS MANARD HAHAHA :P

  • You should glue it to the top so the padding doesn't keep falling on your makeup. :]

  • So helpful ;)

  • wow. thats a REALLY great tip! :) my mac and NYX products are saved!!!!! lol

    Thanks Josh! :D

  • sweet!! thanks for the Tip!

  • Thats a clever idea.Do you know if this keeps them from shattering any easier during shipping,or if you have to fly?I try to kepp my train case with anything powder based(blush, shadow etc) so I can store it in the overhead compt.,but sometimes if you get on a puddle jumper you have to stowe your carryon anyway and shadows can get broken, and baggage handlers are not at all ginger with the way they hurl luggage on board...Broken several products this way...

  • i just bumped into your videos and im glad i did! You are so darn adorable! Love It!

  • thats a good idea i think you could use double sided stickies like the kind used i scrapbooking to stick the padding to the top of the pallette.

  • so simple, - but pure genius! :) x

  • Great tip!!! I find that padding in Chinese Bazars. Thanks for sharing.

  • .99 cent stores have that type of padding to. Double sided tape works great and keeps the padding from falling in the way every time you open the lid. love your vids. :)

  • @roopkool1 ANNOYING

  • @kerfufflicious SHUT UP

  • Great idea!!! I never saw this at the fashion shows I have done, but I plan to do this now because I have had some shadows break. Also I will refer others to this video. Thanks for passing the information to others. I hope NYFW was great. :)

  • his scissors are just basic fabric sheers.. lol

they're not that rare to see.

  • That's awesome! Thanks

  • his scissor is like a killer scissor :D

  • I have that same Bed frame!

  • btw do they retail empty pro pallets at mac counters in canada?

  • @Gothgirl4370 Yes, at the standalone stores, and some of the Bay stores.

  • @snuggly4U the kind with 4 wells?

  • @Gothgirl4370 4 for sure at my Bay store in Saskatoon (may have the 15 too), and when I was in Calgary at the stand alone they had the 4 and 15.

  • @Gothgirl4370

At the stand alones yes, at some of the Bay counters yes (but colours are limited)

  • @snuggly4U they have different colours??? i thought it was just black...

  • Dude, what's with all the Scissor comments? I work at a fabric and craft store.... we sell them all the time, Fiskars makes them.

Anyway - GREAT idea/tip! I've never thought of this before. I'll be so much more comfortable and less worried traveling now =) Thank you!

  • @xdayxdayx

Its because non crafters are afraid of large pointy objects lol

  • you have real big hands..

  • your bone structure is AMAZING

  • @urouttaurLementdonni they look like garden sheers that you use to cut trees.

  • omg where did u get that big black scarf thingy!?

  • those are actually kitchen sheers I think lol we have a pair just like them and the label said sheers. Sorry just thought I'd point that out. Anyway, this is a really good idea and I wouldn't have thought of it if you hadn't had made this vid so thanks.

  • That's cool! I just got some of that stuff from IKEA :D Now I know one way to use it

  • Great tip!!! I so going pad up my palettes!

  • Great tip!! This might be a really dumb question but does it particularly affect the outcome if your make up is broken? I have a blusher compact and it is completely crushed into tiny bits and I usually just end up tapping it off into the lid and it does get a bit messy which is why I do it over the sick, but is that the only issue with broken make up?

  • UGH! If only I had this tip a week ago before my cat killed my pallet by knocking it off my vanity.

  • Thats awesome! I drop my kit sometimes and when I do, if something breaks, it really sucks! I am totally going to do this!

  • Wow, what an amazing tip ! You're saving my palettes. I always end up breaking them but now that I know this simple trick I can never go back!

  • One big warning, almost all of those liners are latex! As a person with a potentially lethal latex allergy, if you are doing make-up work, you need to be aware that if you use that, you will need to warn people. Either look specifically for silicone, or clean your pallet EVERY time you intend to use it on someone who is a client. To save product I would just look for silicone insted of latex.

  • I did this before a gig this past Saturday. It works perfectly. No shifting, breaking, or cracking. You are a life saver. Thanks for the great tip!

  • Shoot son, I have those scissors. Awesome tip though :D

  • u can get it at the 99 cents store boo! One dollar each... mmm hmmm. You can also buy a roll of thin foam from the moving store and put that in there just like new packages.google packaging foam. u can buy the cushion foam pouches from uhaul...theyre usually for dishes.

  • awesome tip!!

  • Omg, your fingers are so long!!

  • Ive been able to find the drawer/cabinet lining at my local dollar store.

  • 99c store =] lol if you're really on budget.

  • i loveee your style¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

    you look amazing¡

  • uhm....isn't it a bit unhealthy, I mean, not so hygienic for that net to touch the pans?

  • @Krystal981 if the net is clean when you first put it on the pans, what's the problem?

  • @38smms83

it would look hard to clean it, whether it gets dirty....but btw, it's only an opinion of mine ;)

  • Great tip thanks for sharing!!

  • So simple, yet a life saver! THANKS!

  • love love LOVE this!

  • thanks dude!

  • you should do a review on your scissors...

  • Hey, I was wondering, I am a college student, and broke (but I repeat myself), and I had a friend tell that the Sonia Kashuk brushes are very good, as in comparable to MAC for the price. I was wondering if you can do may like compare and contrast video for different brands of brushes.

  • I was wondering if you had a video about some kind of product to make make-up last all day? I have conventions that I go to where you're walking around pretty much all day and there's so much going on that you don't have a lot of time for touch-ups throughout, and your picture tends to get taken at random. I have oily skin, and so I was wondering if there was some sort of sealing agent that can be used to at least reduce the need for touch-ups. I've heard that hairspray works.

    Thanks.

  • oh awesome idea!
