Another amazing thing about Primus is they are always on the money! Ive heard one... I mean ONE bad performance (one song really) where it was obvious they couldnt hear each other for shit. other than that they sound as good if not better live than in studio. How many performances have I seen where the artists just couldnt keep it together compared to the studio cut? to damn many... Not Primus! They make it seem so effortless.

but Les got his chord strumming lunacy from the man, Stanley Clarke... bassist for the fusion group Return to Forever in the 70's-80's and then solo artist (now film composer)...one of Les' biggest heroes.

hell man you have been playing for 7 years and you still own a fender?!?! eeeeeew gross! i have a range of basses, 3 i made myself with many thanks to Carl Thompson and his team for the Q&A on that btw, and spectors as well as some other made by local luthiers. fender is EPIC fail when it comes to basses guitars are acceptable quality but the basses are terrible. buy a spector even the bottom line one for about 500 US will be better!

i am assuming that you are kidding. as wnyone with half a clue knows that fenders, even the top shelf fenders, are nothing but mass produced crud, i used to fix up fenders for people who wanted them to actually sound and paly like a bass, immediately off the shelf a fender jazz custom needs fret leveling and truss rod adjustment intonation re-setting, often needs all the screws and bolts tightened, and new pickups, and frankly even then they dont measure up to a bottom line spector!
