Awesome! The year we were married. She was pregnant, and I was unemployed. At Christmas, we got a contract delivering parcels for the post office. We had a 1959 chevy. After the first day, the guy at the P.O. suggested we could get more parcels if we took out the back seat! We did! (Hey, ten cents a parcel!!) I remember two things. My love with her big belly bent over the front seat to get parcels from the back. I still wince! And the kids at the door. Listened to this music as we worked! Luv it
@lgcrooks Just to add. We are doing just fine now in our 60s. Both consultants. She's a professional accountant with a Masters in Business Administration. I have a degree and am a technical writer/editor. We have four kids all doing well. So... how difficult it may seem, you can always pull yourself out!!
@ManicGrasshopper Thanks. I should have mentioned that the guy at the post office was very nice. He counted the numbers of parcels we loaded, and each load he always upped the number by a few in our favour to allow us to make a little more money. True Christmas spirit, and the fact that we were a couple of young people in need. Never forgot his generosity.
The Motown tunes remind me of the hours spent listening to CKLW!

You just don't see this kind of diverse, quality music anymore.

@jayfey77 I chose not to include it to make room for other hits of 69.

@ManicGrasshopper yah, beatles tunes are a bit overwhelming, they will take over everything if you let them.
