I remember seeing this amazing artist in austin several times in the early/mid nineties. The first time i saw her was at liberty lunch. she took the stage and played a telecaster and just completely blew me away! i have to admit though, when she first stepped out, i was thinking, 'what's this tiny woman doing with that telecaster?" what she did with it was phenomenal! i think she's one of the finest and most honest performers i've ever heard...

I keep seeing and hearing people say they have never heard of Carolyn,I just finally heard of her and saw her at the Ottawa blues fest 2010.She was the highlight for me at this years festival(Santana was pretty good also;) She really needs a new marketing agent,to be around this long and so many still have not heard of her is a waste of her talent.I have posted several videos from her ottawa show on my channel.

Just saw them for the first time in Austin City Limits and was blown away. Such incredible talent. Never have I seen this kind of music infused with so much soul.

Her voice is so well matched to the musical style. It's as if all the stars aligned to create this artist. I'm shocked that I hadn't heard of them before today.
