I enjoyed them very much when they were in Düsseldorf. Also watch press condferences and interviews: hilarious. They were great. These entries are part of Eurovision and give more colours to the competition. Portugal sent so many lovely songs, the day will come they will win finally.

PEOPLE: these are not singers, they're professional COMEDIANS.
They applied just for the banter, to show in a light-hearted, amusing way how desperately a REVOLUTION is needed, like the one the portuguese had in the 70's (hence the outdated outfits).

@thanx4thememoryz Don't worry, we have MUCH better singers, these are comediants, making songs against teh governament and shit like that, they didn't pass because of the judges they passed because the audience voted for them... But, considering that they sang in Portuguese they should be respected unlike the majority who sang in english

Its an funny song with an strong political message great I think but perhaps not the right kind of song to be successful on such a contest. Nevertheless I liked it and they did a good job. Best wishes for next year from your friends in Germany ^^
@anniY0 ye, they are not village ppl, they just dress like sad ppl and they think its a funneh way to represent us and our country, lots of portuguese ppl, like me, feel embarassed b-cos of them, dont make us feel even worse. i just hate them so much right now... -.-
What? they are not singers nor they pretend to be! they are comediants GOT IT? they are mocking the show as well as sending a message for that corny idiot thing called eurovision song contents. That is the best song we sent ever!..and we ll keep on sending the Worse"as you say" of HOMENS Da LUTA to the eurovision! lol
They don t dont give a shit about being in the last place or the first of the contest nor we the 300.000 fans in Portugal
@toogarashi5 Thanks for a replay. Well, you sholuld come to Serbia. We have democracy, but we are still in trasnition (from socialisam- gone 2000., to democracy). Maybe you'll like it.
My brother told me, this was his favorite song. Hope one year the ceremony will be in Portugal. You have great country and great sense of humor. And, btw. for years the ESC is in cold countries. I would like to see something different. But you know it's all about neighbors. Greetings from Serbia!
@toogarashi5 Cont.
I am not a musician but i feel that one of the girls was sounding false. This song is not for a competition. Portugal has beeing doing very well in the past maybe not won because had no Godfathers "Cunhas" as we say in Portuguese. I do not know what is the criteria for selection in Portugal but what i can say is that it should not depend on votes from the public alone. There should be a jury for selection. Portugal has such lovely culture and should depict this culture to the world. VIVA PORT
loool..its normal you dont understand the meaning of the song nor the contest..they are not singer nor they pretend to be GOT IT?..if you think is terrible..why say sorry...who cares? they are comediants!
we the fans will always laugh with them and sing with them goo Homens da luta!
Well... i agree the song sucked... but then, Eurovision, wich also sucks, was dead around here and suddenly revived(but thankfully is dead again)... basicly... you didn't like the song, didn't vote for it, great! But don't criticise it the background of it without really knowing it! We certainly did have fun downhere! Regarding to the characters... search by vaitudoabaixotv or vai tudo abaixo (they managed to be invited to get out of the US... PS - chikilicuatre was far worst!
I really wanted to understand how this crappy song reached the eurovision though. I'm Portuguese, but not a proud one, therefore this song is awful. How come they had the idea to show Europe how bad we are? Financially and Politically speaking. How come a country like ours can have such an image like this on the outside? Gosh this music is awful I just listened to it for the first time just now... Not even on the Eurovision I listened to it and I felt ashamed... GO PORTUGAL, but no like this.
im portuguese too and this is the worst song i have ever heard.
portugal is standing in a bad light right now because this country is high indebted (etc...)
so where was the problem in choosing a good song??? okay, a song is not a good way to change the image of a country but i think that the portuguese should be more assiduous in their representation... this performance was just terrible.
look my people... i'm portuguese and i know that the song sucks. and no, they aren't from the village, they are from the city, but they were dressed like that because of the song. and the song is about the financial crisis in Portugal and around the world and about the portugal independence... AND I'M FROM THE VILLAGE AND I DON'T DRESS MYSELF LIKE THAT!
This song is a way that portuguese people used to show to europe how our country is! i know that this music is bad, but the menssage is strong! And,,, the way that they dressed represents the 70's ... when Portugal had idependence... ..
fuck this is bad, my portuguese mother was in complete uproar over this the other day and now I can understand. I'm pissing myself with laugther watching this but I also feel absolute shame that the portuguese public have such time warped sense of what music is, my god. absolutely shocking
They are brave, here in Portugal competed and won a vote of the people.
Who does not like, do not criticize it, we are Portuguese, are great .....
Yes, they are comedians but when it comes to criticize politicians or whatever are the best.
Like them on facebook and see what they have done.
Who is Portuguese put "like" this comment.

What? they are not singers nor they pretend to be! they are comediants GOT IT? they are mocking the show as well as sending a message for that corny idiot thing called eurovision song contents. That is the best song we sent ever!..and we ll keep on sending the Worse"as you say" of HOMENS Da LUTA to the eurovision! lol
They don t dont give a shit about being in the last place or the first of the contest nor we the 300.000 fans in Portugal
Jonasjonas345 9 months ago
@toogarashi5 Thanks for a replay. Well, you sholuld come to Serbia. We have democracy, but we are still in trasnition (from socialisam- gone 2000., to democracy). Maybe you'll like it.
My brother told me, this was his favorite song. Hope one year the ceremony will be in Portugal. You have great country and great sense of humor. And, btw. for years the ESC is in cold countries. I would like to see something different. But you know it's all about neighbors. Greetings from Serbia!

@toogarashi5 Cont.

VIVA PORT

Well... i agree the song sucked... but then, Eurovision, wich also sucks, was dead around here and suddenly revived(but thankfully is dead again)... basicly... you didn't like the song, didn't vote for it, great!

Niagirl21 9 months ago
im portuguese too and this is the worst song i have ever heard.
portugal is standing in a bad light right now because this country is high indebted (etc...)
so where was the problem in choosing a good song??? okay, a song is not a good way to change the image of a country but i think that the portuguese should be more assiduous in their representation... this performance was just terrible.

look my people... i'm portuguese and i know that the song sucks. and no, they aren't from the village, they are from the city, but they were dressed like that because of the song. and the song is about the financial crisis in Portugal and around the world and about the portugal independence... AND I'M FROM THE VILLAGE AND I DON'T DRESS MYSELF LIKE THAT!

This song is a way that portuguese people used to show to europe how our country is! i know that this music is bad, but the menssage is strong! And,,, the way that they dressed represents the 70's ... when Portugal had idependence... ..
