dude he's pretty Peruvian on the show as well lmao. No, but I am a big fan of both the character and the actor, and I'm very glad that he was born in Peru and was born to a Peruvian mother, as I am Peruvian as well.
BTW, that was pretty funny, you should do one, yelling "CUZ IM PERUVIAN!" lol
tsk, tsk. Desmond David Hume the character is Scottish. Henry Ian Cusick Chavez, the half-Peruvian graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama in Glasgow, is just the actor who happens to play him.
Some of the lost writers have kind of a bad habit of writing in cliches. Desmond, the alcoholic scotsman who plays golf. Hurley, the clumsy, comical fat guy. It's as Littleradge says, you have to make sure you're not missing any of your stereotypes :)
:) thank you for your comment! It's particularly nice of you to say so because I feel kind of badly about er, "borrowing" from Littleradge, but golf is one of the biggest stereotypes about scots in the united states.
He was born in Scotland to a Scottish father and he says he's Scottish - get over it
