technically if you played the original gold and silver the very first shiny pokemon anyone caught was the red gyarados...kinda weird that thats probably the mmost common shiny huh

I would ditch pimpbird and get something more powerful. Salamence and Roselia or Breloom are definites if you want a good end game. Think about Gardevoir too, she's pretty good (or he).

You should've gotten shroomish because it learns better fighting moves than double kick and Tropius's only good move early on is rasor leaf where as shroomish learns mega drain early on.

Also crawdaunt is a better water type.

Helping Hand ISN'T an attack move! It raises your partner's attack for that turn...other than that little slip up it was once again another good episode!! For the water type I would use Tentacruel over Wailmer...yeah Wailmer gets decent moves but its a BITCH to evolve!!! If you wanna get one LATER even Relicanth
