  • Reading the comments....and wow, too many ignorant people on this channel asking stupid questions to bother answering.... good luck.

    One word of advice: RESEARCH

  • You don^t need a 6 pack anymore than you need to be 7 feet. A 6 pack is a fad that makes u look sick or starving like persons with aids or in a death camp.A flatter stomach sure but a 6 pack ? Get a life

  • @sumbarine if you had a six pack and u looked sick you did something very wrong in you diet ;)

  • @sumbarine 6 pack is also one of the staples for a bodybuilder in contest prep. Don't knock athletes in their sport.

  • According to dr.Ray Peat Low Carb= Death of Metabolism!! we need digestable carbs from squashes, fruits, and sugar to Speed up Metabolism and Support Thyroid and Liver to Convert t4 to T3.. we dont need carbs like grains, beans, greens that we,humans,CANT digets!also we gotta stay far from nuts, seeds and any vegetable liquid oils!!

  • @mokugin81 Aka Leptin levels.

Protein and essential fats are also important.

Dietary Induced Thermogenesis is generated highest from protein. Essential fats upregulate important cellular and hormonal functions, and carbs are our energy source. Use them wisely you can go far...eat them with no control.... you are setting yourself up for an unhappy positive caloric balance.

  • i think carbs are over rated in terms of maintaining muscle, its the intense training that willl give your body a reason to hold muscle not how many carbs you eat, how could you ever no how many carbs your holding at any time? your body is very clever and would never alow your musclet to be eaten up just because you think your low on carbs, JMO..

  • @IDMWEIGHTSIDM Try & do intense workouts without carbohydrate,It ain^t gonna happen. That^s why all pro body weight lifter & athletes load up on carbs.

  • @sumbarine well, each person different, to say there's one best way to do something is ridiculous, i squatted my personal best yesterday on no carbs, im geting to the point where im not eating carbs during the day at all and feel great while at the same time continue to get stronger i train DC THATS intense, if you think you wake up in the morning and have no carbs in your muscles, body, because you haven't eaten all night is just funny and is probably one of the reasons most ppl are fat...

  • ok??? well... have you studied the Acuspeed 24 Diet (search on google)? I am told some unbelivable chatter about it and my friend got rid of a lot of weight with it.

  • @dyefrey Diets only work for a short time. When you go back to eating how you used to (lifestyle) everything will just come back but with a vengeance!

  • Oh hello had you ever thought about the Acuspeed 24 Diet (search on google)? I keep hearing some extraordinary talk about it and my aunt lost crazy amounts of weight doing it.

  • Hi hi! Have you ever tried cleverous 402 diet (do a search on google)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my cousin lost a lot of weight with it.

  • hey how long should it take cause ii been on the low carb no sugar diet for like 3months now and i mean i lost fat but only semi toned and i do alot of cardio and sht

  • Remember six pack abs is also about genetics most people who have six pack abs have the genetics factor. If you've been trying to get the abs and you don't it is most likely it is genetics. Don't beat yourself up over it just stay active with exercise you like and proper nutrition.

  • @gooruraw This is simply not true. My younger brother has a six pack. I don't. We share the same parents, we share the same genetics. He has been athletic and active his whole life. I was never naturally athletic. I sucked at competitive sports. So for me gathering and maintaining the motivation to eat right and exercise regularly was difficult. It required a lot of effort to change my thinking and values about active and healthy living. For my brother it was just a natural choice.

  • @reptilianskin your genetics are COMPLETELY different to your brothers. he got the best of both your parents in terms of athletics, and you got the worst. YOUR genetics rule the way your body will look, along with nutrition and training, you genetics are based off of your ancestors but are in no way EXACT copies.

  • im 16 5/7 and 138 pounds can you tell me a good diet. i workout 4 days a week at plenet fitness and do a shit load of cardio

  • I had success following a plan similar to this. The body fat melts off while energy actually seems to go up. I've began to write about it on squidoo(dot)com/how-you-can-lose-weight-without-exercising-

  • So oatmeal is cool on low carb diets?

    What about induction phase ?

  • needing carbs to build muscle is a misconception. Insulin levels spiking from carbohydrates are to rebuild the glycogen stores and store fat. The bigger mucles are from an increase in water weight to store the glycogen and a resultant inflammation.

  • "Carbohydrates release insulin" oh really? pfft.

  • @PistonHonda319 yeah....that's incorrect...what happens is that the carbs go through a process where they engage insulin receptors because white rice and breads (and potatoes) have a lot of GI (glycemic index) so basically your body takes a bit longer to store it and process it; it can be turned into energy but people are so sedentary it turns into fat thats why people get so big eating potato chips, fries, rice, and bread.

cavemen didn't have french fries prehistorically, thus more lean

  • Just eat fruit and veg, and workout daily. simple. we are just too lazy to keep up a good workout.

  • I have been frustrated by stopped seeing results, I tried for 2 months to get a 6-pack, i workout 6x a week and why my body fat does not drop? IS BECAUSE OF CARBS?, whole wheat bread thats bad?

  • @sakoking Whole wheat bread has a GI in the upper 80's. White bread is only a few points higher.

  • hey jimmy, is it okay to have 2 pieces of pizza but then workout afterwards.....and how do i let my packs show

  • @eminemdude234 If your intention is to get lean then skip the pizza. It does nothing good for the body!

  • why can't people just meet their natural level of homeostasis, stop trying to defy nature over six tiny muscles. Why do you all want a six pack anyway?

  • huh? I cant understand what youre saying. it doesnt even look like you work out.

  • your an idiot!

  • Its so hard to follow these videos. Jimmy needs to chill out and talk slower and clearer.

  • Hey jimmy, I thought you preferred carb-cycling diets?

  • this just confused me, ill have to come back and listen a few times

  • some good info right there. what source OTHER than oatmeal can one get these 100-200g of carbs? wheat bread? organic pasta? don't forget that almost all protein shakes now also have about 10-30g of carbs per serving as well...

another question - if you've been on a low carb diet, and need to do a long, endurance type sport, then surely your body would be at a disadvantage, so would you 'stock up' the day of with carbs to prevent muscle break down during said sport?

    keep up the great work!

  • About the shakes,

Just watch the back of the package ;)

  • you wanna get your high fiber carbs from low glycemic sources, such as whole wheat bread, brown rice, whole wheat pasta, that sort of thing. however, a lot of those whole grain products, like the bread and pasta, have sugar added, so check the label. the first ingredient should say whole grain, or whole wheat. vegetables are great sources of fiber, and are low in carbs, so you can eat a bunch and still make your carb goal. also, you want to buy high quality shakes (optimum nutrition, isopure)
