  • One of my favorite anthems....I've seen folk shout off of this like it was a hot gospel song... LOVE IT!!!

  • Much respect.

  • When I was young I hated when the "old people's choir" would sing cause they songs like this. Now that I'm older I have such an appreciation for this genre of music. Such musicianship. Now i'm wishing I knew of a church that still sang songs like this on occasion.

  • My favorite anthem. I remember my mother playing, directing and singing this in the church when I was little. St. John AME your choir has done a great job singing this you have blessed me and many others. RochelleP, St.John AME Church, River Rouge, MI.

  • Beautiful Brother - Lance † 32

  • Good music, never to be forgotten!!!

  • A warhorse anthem of my church in Baltimore, called Morning Star Baptist Church of Christ. I spent many a childhood summer in Norfolk with my mom's parents back in the early to late 70's. Worshiping at Metropolitan AME Zion. I can remember when I was a kid that church getting a new organ which was a Rodgers and the wonderful music sung there!!!!!!!

  • Absolutely wonderful! Praise God.

  • I almost cried! WOW
