he is not lazy and he has written many songs of his own that have done just as well as this one, maybe you should listen to "through gods eyes" it was written for judgemental people like yourself. cody is part of confederate railroad, danny shirley is the lead singer and he is the one who wrote that song. Going to many of their shows they also sing music they didn't write, that does not make them lazy by any means it shows they appreciate good music. Cody is great!!!
