Marijuana is more healthy, less dangerous and makes less damage to the human body than alcohol and doesnt make u pysically depending on it. But as the government gets more money with alcohol cause people cant produce it at home they rather let it legalized. In netherlands where both is legealized there are more problems with alcohol than with marijuana.

@flubra Legalizing both is the only option. You can't forbid both because it would cause way more problems then there are right now. Alcohol prohibition is the perfect example of that. The government isn't learning from that, though. And people think cigarettes and alcohol should be criminalized and weed legalized. That wouldn't work because now you have to fight people illegaly trafficking and using alcohol and cigarettes. Everything has to be legal, it's the only option.

If it is indeed a drug war, it's being fought pretty poorly. I agree with you on the premise that it is kind of ridiculous and ultimately futile to make a substance and its usage illegal, but right now it is the law...but successes have been made in bringing propostions to legalize it to the ballots. I say keep going that route, and eventually more informed voter population will be able to put the proposition through.

Well, Im not against marijuana, I think it should be legal, if it's being controlled (*Alcohol is not controlled at all so why would weed? ..Well, I dont know).

Most CC's have a UTP, univ transfer program, that's what i did, I went to community college then Baylor University, got my degree in biology. I took the MCAT, twice, got accepted to a couple of schools and chose TAMHSC. Dude, i dropped out of high school at 18 and now i'm a resident, practicing internal medicine. I'm going to be a cardiologist. 18 is so young.

First off I'm edge so I don't partake of any drugs or booze. My stance on this issue is mixed however. Marijuana is a gateway drug I don't care who wants to argue. I've woken up with a 2 inch gash in my leg from a drunken night, I've cussed out a convenience store clerk and nearly went to jail while under the influence of alcohol. Under the influence of weed, all my problems felt miles away, I was happy, carefree, and still had my wits about me. Even after the high went away, I was laughing and smiling for awhile. My motor skills were impaired for a time, but my sight wasn't blurred, and I could easily drive. So, no...your argument makes no sense.

I agree with you on the premise that it is kind of ridiculous and ultimately futile to make a substance and its usage illegal, but right now it is the law...but successes have been made in bringing propostions to legalize it to the ballots. I say keep going that route, and eventually more informed voter population will be able to put the proposition through.

Well, Im not against marijuana, I think it should be legal, if it's being controlled (*Alcohol is not controlled at all so why would weed? ..Well, I dont know).

Tobacco causes over 400000 deaths each year and is followed by alcohol with almost 100000. If you open your dumbass eyes then you'll see that there are ZERO deaths from marijuana. Most CC's have a UTP, univ transfer program, that's what i did, I went to community college then Baylor University, got my degree in biology. I took the MCAT, twice, got accepted to a couple of schools and chose TAMHSC. Dude, i dropped out of high school at 18 and now i'm a resident, practicing internal medicine. I'm going to be a cardiologist. 18 is so young.

I've woken up with a 2 inch gash in my leg from a drunken night, I've cussed out a convenience store clerk and nearly went to jail while under the influence of alcohol. Under the influence of weed, all my problems felt miles away, I was happy, carefree, and still had my wits about me. Even after the high went away, I was laughing and smiling for awhile. My motor skills were impaired for a time, but my sight wasn't blurred, and I could easily drive. So, no...your argument makes no sense.
