hers my opinion on the tousle me softly hair line. I would Highly recommend the products of you have naturally wavy or even curly hair. I have naturally wavy hair and I love these product cause there moisturizing but they dont weigh your hair down, so it easier to get that tousled look with effort. Because If I use a heavy conditioner my hair dress straight/wavy and its just blah

1.she has put heat PROTECTANT on Kristy's hair. Safe. OK?? It wont protect it thoroughly, but hell, the blow dryer doesnt do serious damage.

i do this to my hair too but i don't use any products.

i take a shower then when my hair is kind dry i braid it&leave it in til the next day, & when i unravel the braid i just curl the front&leave the bottoms crimped.

it looks less messy than this.

Hair grows, people. The damage doesn't stay in your hair after it grows out. Plus, she curled it ONCE. Not a big deal. When I was younger, I was in dance recitles and was wearing makeup and had my hair heat set in salons on a weekely basis, and my hair is fine. Relax.

I think it was a bit of shortsighted thinking to do a tutorial on your baby sister's hair. The tousled look looks good on your but on a kid, not so much. I just think that kids shouldn't use any products or heat on their hair. You should definitely try out tutorials on older people for that reason, and because people won't really know how it would look on them because the style is being modeled on a child, it distracts from the actual hairstyle.

She showed you she was using hot tools. Hot tools was made for the gentle cuticles on black women hair. You still need heat protection but it was designed for black women hair. Maybe she does not use the hair dryer to much on her hair.

I know how much heat a curling iron carries but i won't use it because (A) I dont have a curling iron and (B) my hair is naturally wavy so I dont feel the need to use one....yeh she used too much heat on the girls hair but the girl is still young, her hair will grow, and will always be cut, she's not going to die...
