true mcfly fans would love them whatever they decide to do with their music. I've seen alot of unfaitful Mcfly fans over the past few weeks. Mcfly said theres probably more old mcfly on the new record than radio:Active so stop slagging them off before you've even heard the new record.

Mcfly have sold out their 'old fans for a sound that they reckon will bring them a bigger following. They haven't been true to themselves, its all about money and being seen as 'cool' amd more musically acceptable. Shame on you guys.

I hope I'm wrong but McFly seem to have dumped their 'old' following for a new style of music which they hope will make them bigger and more popular. By following a musical style that they think is 'cooler' do they think they will become more accepted by the majority of people who follow this music trend? What about the fans who they've left behind, who liked what they did before, don't they matter anymore? Have McFly sold themselves out?

@holycowitsmer everything that goes to charts is called mainstream, therefore McFly is mainstream. They always claimed themselves as POP music, I don't see enything drastically new about their strategy. Just because you don't like the sound of the current pop music doesn't mean they suddenly go mainstream/soldout or whatever you may call it.

I love the way R:A was, because there is the more rocky stil and some Sign-Alon songs. Just hope that this next album gonna cach up whit R:A ! :)
