Si se parece en ciertas partes a "un perro andaluz" pero creo que siendo una sátira del surrealismo es normal.

Me da rabia los seudo criticos de cine que el único argumento válido que tienen es "pendejo" o cualquier otra ofensa que usan cuando algo no les gusta y no saben como argumentar el por qué. Que un film tenga como título surrealismo no significa que sea surrealista, como bien dijo alguien parece una sátira al surrealismo y quizás un experimento, no es malo experimentar y aprender, critiquen con fundamentos y sin ofender así no demuestran que los "pendejos" son ustedes.

Very comical satire of surrealism, though flawed slightly. Announces the stereotypes. I laughed, though the sound was off when I watched it. That made it very annoying to watch.

You are right of course! It is also similar to Eraserhead by David Lynch, but this film is not surrealistic. To imitate some great scenes of surrealistic movies doesn't make a film surrealistic anyway. For example: it has a story! It is rational!

I don't know what the motivation was to make this movie, so this is why I asked "What does this has to do with surrealism?"
