David Chase's all-out suspension of reality on a show that was supposed to be a "true-life" portrayal of Mob Life in today's society is pathetic for lack of a better word. The storylines are ridiculous, the fact that they get away with so much crime is just unbelievable even for a Mafioso. Gotti himself didn't get away with half the crap that the Soprano family gets away with. Ridiculous.

I don't like being taken for a ride, I consider it an insult to my intellect. Sopranos was a decent show to watch purely for it's entertainment value, I'll give you that. But when critics & media outlets claim it portrays a real-life view into the lives of these gangsters, I tend to get annoyed that they are trying to feed me such a blatant BS line...
