the most people dont realize that the longest day was only a little part in that war in the year 45 the real war was fought between germany and russia there died over 10million soldiers on the battlefield!
fuck off what the hell am I suposed to say. it was the most important battle because we were on the brink of Invasion nothing could stop the Nazis not America or Russia but we kept fighting because we could fight them in places were the wouldn't expect it
erm tbh no....without the russians we would have had no chance of invading normandy in 1944, but britain had already defended herself in the battle of britain 1940
Yes but other than that Britain wasn't able to do anything, and If the US wouldn't have stepped in, the Germans would have lasted out the winter and continued on taking over Russia, more or less due to Russia's idiotic leaders and Germany's superior troops. Eventually Germany would have rebuilt & set up and succeeded in an invasion of Britain. By the US stepping in we were able to invade and work our way up through Italy and then into Normandy causing the Germans to be split into a 3 front war.
lol if britian would have fallen u wouldnt have invaded normandy anyway....and the british played an important role in italy aswell....and north africa...so yeah ur being a bit ignorant...but i guess ur American
And then when it comes to the pacific front, the US was the only actual fighting force out there on the allies side. Even if Germany never went to war with Russia, We would have still won against Germany. The nuclear bombs were originally intended to be dropped on Germany first, but they surrendered before they were completed. Nukes aside, once we finished up with Japan, our over 24 carriers and other air forces that were in the pacific would be enough.
they were not intended for Germany -.-....at first after Germany surrended the American were planning on invading the japanese mainland...but they estimated there could be up to 1 million casulties so dropped the bombs...but your right about u only being the actual fighting force out there but u are so wrong about europe
What am I wrong about for Europe? The nukes were intended for Germany originally. Albert Einstein contacted the US Gov. saying about how Germany was working and may be close to creating an atomic weapon so it was decided that when, and if we were able to create a successful bomb, we would drop it on them.
For all we knew they had them already. By the time we actually created and tested a successful prototype and built as many as we could (2, some more would be built a few months later, as soon as we could get enough uranium/plutonium for more) Germany had already surrendered.
At first there was some debate over using it but in the end it was decided to use them on japan since it would save lives like you said, and Truman said "it is a weapon made for war, so it will be used in war" or something like that.
USA only got the Nucliar bomb because they captured the info about it. If Russia didn't fought with the Allies, the war would take longer and USA wouldn't have that Nucliar info, or atleast too late I think, and still loose the war.
Umm... actually US didn't capture any German nuclear info an the USSR didn't even start a nuclear program until after WW2. They did however spy on the US Manhattan project. Also, while Russia was important we would have still won, the Nukes were made to be dropped on Germany original. I also wish Germany would have won on the eastern front, what the Russians did to the German/Berlin civilians was just plain wrong.
@Getroza No we would have had the information regardless. The reason we created a nuclear bomb was because the USA permitted Albert Einstein to enter the country and he stated that the Uranium proton can be split, hence the creation of the atomic bomb. But Russia has created a huge impact in nuclear advances such as the Tsar bomb.
Yup, if the Battle of Britain hadn't been won the Axis could've invaded England in an amphibious disembarkment. Just as the Allies did later. BUt if it hadn't been won there wouldn't have been D-Day!
This is a good video it is an awsome display however on the topic of gaming skill you are playing on regular cause if you got out of the trench like that on veteran you die instantly
ah dude yes the period does indeed influence the musical essence but this was produced and recorded exclusively for NFL films. You bedwetters are prolly the same types, who in the same breath will tell anyone will listen how "sports are gay..."
hahaha enjoy the irony and ephemeral output you get from this and remember the "imbuement" released by this music is from FOOTBALL.
