I might get the Sum 41 album... because it makes me nostalgic too. I was listening to rap until I heard Sum 41's album "Does this look infected?". It was the gateway drug of rock for me. From SUm 41 I went to NoFX, then to System of a Down, then to Rammstein, then to Tool, then to Faith no More where I am today. Don't get me wrong... I like more bands than that. But either way, I owe it all to Sum 41... even if I don't like their music anymore.

Sum 41 was more similar to blink-182 in their early days (both bands used a lot of toilet humor in their lyrics/videos) and they eventual made their way into a Punk/Post-Hardcore sound. New Found Glory are more similar to that whiny emo sound akin to Simple Plan. Both bands were originally considered pop-punk but they've kind of drifted.
