Hell is a condition, not a place of eternal torment. A careful study of the Bilble reveals that Hell=Grave. The grave being evidence of death. Once you are dead, body and soul, you will return to the dust, and never have conscious existance again.

God's Judgment will be eternal, there is no coming back. But, there was a limit to physical punishment. God's Law, which also binds God, stated man could be beaten with 40 stripes, but NO more. He can do away with evil in the world, and He will shortly. If He did right now, where would that leave you? He is currently waiting so that more people can be saved, then He will put away with all evil.

Prayer is an act of devotion. God asks us to pray because He gets glory for Himself in answering us. It's more of a provision for us than it is Him, it's a relational tool. It also strengthens our faith when we see Him answer.

God never condemns the innocent. He is a just judge.

I don't get why a "just judge" would give people infinite punishment for finite sins. If Hell is eternal, then people wouldn't be able to learn from their mistakes. For example, if my cat bit me, I'd scold him briefly but he'd learn not to do it again. I wouldn't throw him into an unceasing fire pit. That's called animal abuse. When it's done to humans it's called murder.

If he did away with evil right now, then the world would be a much happier place. It's so simple.

I absolutely have evidence for the Bible. For example: The NT has over 5000 supporting Greek manuscripts existing today with another 20,000 manuscripts in other languages. Some of the manuscripts date to within 100 years of the original writing.

There are also several prophecies fulfilled in Jesus, such as the crucifixion being described in Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53 700 years before the practice was invented, and scientific facts written thousands of years before their modern discovery.
