Thanks, so then what is the EX5R doing? I just picked up one of these used and am doing a bit of research.

@celticcatmusic The EX5r is the Mellotron-esque choir sound. That sound is from the Mel-Labs free soundset available on ex5tech.com. The EX5r is a great synth. There's a lot of information and free sounds on that site.

Can you say which sound is which?

For example I really like the slightly sawed harmonium pad.

@celticcatmusic The main pad is both the SY77 and Wavestation, played together via MIDI but the majority of what you're hearing (the "sawed harmonium") is Wavestation.

There is definatly "SOMETHING" so majestic in the sound of Yamaha synths....i cant pinpoint it but ive owned Rolands, Korgs, Novations and plenty of others and nothing sounds unique......Nice track by the way....
