WOW! Roma got hit bad... i havent gone home like in 2 months... I only heard of the floods because of the news, I didnt know it was this bad.... my mom said she got flooded too, but it wasn't as bad as other ppls houses... But aren't things like back to normal already??

My house got flooded too, but the water didnt come in from the doors and crack, it came in from my roof,we have hole in are ceilings and stuff. are carpet sinks real bad because of it, we're going to take it out, which is like 80% of the entire house.

Well yeah, that's the sad story of our shitty little town. There's never enough prevention when dealing with mother nature. That just gives us the fact that God can take away anything in just a blink of an eye. And for all the Roma people at least you guys got emergencies over there to help, we didn't get shit! I live behind the Human Services Dept. and no one takes responsibility for my street, Starr County or Roma. so yeah.. We gotta vote wisely next time, Que conpongas las calles!
