I'm not sure about terrible, however I will say that Paul and Gene by owning the cat and space concepts they have let someone use them instead of creating new characters.

You would think that Eric and Tommy would have the decency to turn it down (childhood dream or not).

I don't know what tommy's playing style really is by copying all of Ace's licks. This is a pre-packaged, over commercialized band that is truly lacking character.

It's not Kiss, It's paul and gene with two wanna-bes.

This is dreadful... You can't have Kiss without Ace... Ace Frehley is touring and putting out a new cd this fall.. Kiss is playing shows for 10 years without an album.

That's not KISS's fault. Ace QUIT. It was his own choice. He could be playing a sold out Euro tour instead on tiny clubs if he used his head for a change.

Ace Quit cause Kiss plays the same boring show. Ace is about the music. Kiss is about entertainment. He is using his head. Don't put Ace down for playing clubs. Clubs are fun.

Maybe you like a band..if you can call them that,..that takes money from fans without putting out a new cd in 10 years.try to see this lineup play in the states other then crappy casino gigs or some biker fest that has retred bands play it every year. No promoter would touch Kiss without Ace in the states.

KISS plays the show they do because that's what the fans want. And so what if they haven't had an album out in years? Neither have the Rolling Stones and the fans still pack their shows. And guess what? They play their "hits" over and over. Again, because it's what the fans want to hear! And KISS's last tour in the states was a huge success - WITHOUT ACE.

Ace quit because the two jews didn't want to pay him. Entertainment is NEVER free...regardless if you watch it or provide it.

Ace quit because he thought the Farewell tour was going to be the last. He wanted to return to his solo work and finish his album. When he found out KISS wanted to continue - he quit.

I already posted this but I want to get my point across.. You know, I love Ace and Peter. I just saw Ace in concert, it was a great show. Ace is my favorite member of KISS. It is good to see him shine on his own. But the truth is, Gene and Paul will always be the heart of KISS (Kiss didn't die in the 80s..) and I commend them for touring all over the world after 30 years. I would pay to see them in concert again, so stop bitching. Kiss is a name, an image, an institution. Not four guys.

Clutch, Maiden, I can go on. Kiss WAS the greatest show. Now it's old hat. It's the same predictable explosion & effects, mixed in with fake characters on stage playing the same old tired songs. They are a Tribute band! A tribute band who can't sell out an arena the USA anymore. I was a Kiss fan since I was 5. I followed them day in, day out. They aren't Kiss anymore. You aren't getting what they are advertising. It's an imitation brand of Kiss. The ticket price should be half off!
