A lot of people shit on Glacier, because it's "cool" to dump on what was an overhyped gimmick. But he was a pretty good wrestler and once they paired him up with Ernest Miller, had a decent midcard tag team. But Ray Lloyd wasnt some guy they just plucked from an alley to fill the gimmick. He goes way back. I've seen him as far back as a jobber in the early 90s. Might even find some stuff from the 80s here on YT.

The Glacier character always seemed better suited for Japan. WWE/WCW fans couldn't appreciate it that much.

Wow. Ray Lloyd still looks good. It wasn't so much he was a *bad* wrestler (wasn't that good either), but his gimmick was one of the top ten worst ever.

Glacier didn't get much mic time IIRC in WCW probably because his Georgia accent sort of clashed with his being this sci-fi video-game martial artist who was billed from the nonexistent Shorinji Temple, Fukuoka, Japan.
