  • this was the last time until now :(

  • Djokovic's return of serve has improved a ton since this match !

  • man Nadal wins too much against Djokovic for my liking haha.....may this domination of Novak continue till Nadal plays tennis.....sore loser is Nadal

  • That O2 stadium is amazing.

  • 1:04 <-- for skipping the intro

  • what the fuck hightlights?

  • I want to see this 2010 Rafa vs Today's Novak in the O2 Arena.

  • @BrotherTree1 It gonna be ended with Nadal's 8th straight lose to Djokovic... lol

  • djokovic and his coaches do not like the video xD

  • WTF-Highlights lol

  • I like Rafa playing

  • raffa is soooo sick omg!!!!

    he is fuckin everybody!:)

  • This match is meaningless. Nadal was still having enough trouble with a one-eyed Djokovic. LOL! Djokovic is a different beast now.

  • @HenryTheJoker hehe yes xD

  • @HenryTheJoker

lol 6:2 you call a trouble? This Nadal would win US OPEN 2011 and don't be fooled by Djokovic. He is the biggest actor the tennis has ever seen. I think he had some problems in the ending of the first set but in the second set he was playing nothing special. Not because of that eye (100%ly of course there could be some 10% down) but from his hits you can see he was OK. It's just his way how to steal the victory Nadal.

  • @2nadalfederer1 Nadal got crushed by Federer in the finals in this tournament, 6-1 in the third set. Nadal can't beat Djokovic anymore. 6 finals and Nadal has lost all of them to Djokovic on hardcourt, clay and grass. Nadal was lucky to win 3 Slams in 2010 because nobody was in good form. Now there are stronger players, especially Djokovic who is stronger and fitter than Nadal and much more confident. Djokovic has won 9 of last 11 meetings against Nadal.

  • @HenryTheJoker

When you're talking about luck. Djokovic has luck too. Noone is in the best form. Like Nadal. That Federer from WTF would crush Novak in 3 sets even today. Novak lost to Federer in RG. Only that 6 finals Novak vs Rafa can't be put away. But it only shows how great their actual form is. Nadal was not as good as he was in US OPEN 2010 (for example) So he lost plenty of time. But the last lose was because of Djokovic's injury. Hope we'll see another Djokovic vs Nadal final in WTF.

  • @2nadalfederer1 Rafa's USO 2010 performance was complete luck. He can't serve like that because his shoulder will break off. He served great for 2 weeks and has NEVER served like that again because it's an abnormal motion. He got his USO win and that's it. It was a lucky tournament win. If it wasn't lucky then why can't he serve like that now? Why can't he serve 130mph serves today?

  • @HenryTheJoker it takes just luck to win a grand slam? lol you're a bloody imbecile. Djokovic is a great player but so is Rafael Nadal and Novak still has work to do before he can really be in Nadal's class

  • @LorienoftheBlossom It was luck. Look at Nadal's 2010 USO draw. He got a bunch of scrubs in his draw. He got Gabashvilli, Istomin, Lopez, Verdasco, Simon, and Youzhny en route to the final. He didn't beat any great players to make the final. Youzhny and Verdasco were dead tired from 5 set wars in the previous round. And Djokovic was dead after the 5 set war against Federer in the semifinals. Nadal's US Open 2010 was a dream run. Piss easy draw and tired players.

  • @HenryTheJoker Totally agree

  • @LorienoftheBlossom and I'll also add that Gilles Simon didn't come to win. His son was being born that same day and Simon wanted to go home so he put in a half assed effort so he could make the next plan home. Another easy match for Nadal in the piss easy US Open 2010 dream run. Nadal was lucky! He played no great players at their best.

  • @HenryTheJoker

This wasn't his best season that's the answer. He had in 2011 weaker backhand than in 2010 (lots of unforced errors. His strokes weren't to the baseline. Like in 2010 but a lot shorter. With this your confidence goes down and you cannot serve that well. (not because you cna't but because you are too scared to miss it. So you rather go with lower speeds. Which are his death against players like Djokovic. And against Djokovic it is the whole new story. Nadal is affaraid of Novak.

  • @2nadalfederer1 So, with good acting someone can win 3 Grand Slams, 5 Masters1000, become No 1, set record in money prize, winning streak, Number of won Masters1000, etc.

This is nonsense of 2011. Ask Nadal about 'acting'.

It seems your name is OUT of date.

  • @mirko59

Of course he has some skill. But not that good. Federer had a bad year and Nadal had his worst from 2004 (See his shots. Almost none of them went to the baseline). So bad year of opponents and Nole's best year in his life = absolute demolition.

on the other hand he would be such a great actor. Nadal acting? :D

P.S.: Federer won and he has winning streak now. Novak lost in the Robin round. (lost 2 matches like Nadal) So Nadal and Nole lost. Roger is on the throne.

    My name is well-timed.

  • @2nadalfederer1

You don't know what you're talking about.

  • @HenryTheJoker A beast who cheats with pressure chamber...

  • @slatz20 Good luck with that argument. Nadal uses time outs to disrupt his opponent's rhythm and gets illegal coaching from his Uncle during matches.

  • @HenryTheJoker Winning 6 games in a row is having trouble?

  • @HenryTheJoker if you would watch Djokovic's strokes in this match, his forehand his serve mechanics are almost identical to his mechanics in 2011 & 2012...... his trophy position is better in serve (his main problem up until Indian Wells & Miami), and his forehand has a much better motion......

  • hahahah WTF..i know what it means here,but..axax

  • wow! djokovic really worked hard on his serve in the offseason

  • @FedererNation2RF

I came back to this video myself to see what the heck this guy was doing back then he doesn't do anymore. Definitely his serve has changed quite a lot for good, his ground-strokes were never a problem but having a serve like he has now has made his life easier. Also he has become a lot more consistent, and tend to go more for the lines than back on these days. He's definitely a complete different monster now days. I'm still in shock how quickly he turned everything around.

  • @jimtroclus his strokes quite the same, serve improved, hit less unforced errors, mentally stronger. I think the stamina conditioning helped.

  • @randykarmakum

regarding his strokes: he seems to get better depth more consistently this year (somewhat due to improved footwork and even quicker court coverage) and he plays the right shot at the right time, particularly against Rafa.

His approach shots are also much stronger and come at the right time now. It's true though, his improved serve, stamina and mental advantage over Rafa relieve him of the pressure he once felt to hit all the winners out there (something Nadal feels now).
