@aegis666420 I played till 42, then I couldnt handle the frustration anymore. Playing just wasnt fun! 30+ is pure grinding, and ur tired of it after a week. Then your like: Goota be that lvl, then it becomes better! Then you play it waaaay too much and once ur there after weeks of frustration it isnt so good anyway. My tip: If you have any form of a life (school,work,relationship) dont even try playing aion

if you like dps go crit and use staff benefits are decent high dps and knockdowns

or you can go tank by putting shield def or hp into your gear and using mace and shield

personally i have never played a chanter. But if you want to level up quick go for crit and by the time you hit 50 you should know what type you want to be

But I actually think the chanter might have won if she would've used her staff. At 37, we don't really have that many stuns or cc compared to other classes, but with the staff we can crit better and you have a chance of knockdown. Plus a chanter has a plethora of moves with a staff. Congrats to the sin

Assassin usually get better when they reach higher levels, one because it's quite hard to master the class, and we are more balance against other classes at higher lvl's. Gets more and more rewarding the more you play :)

A common misconception amongst most players i'm afraid, the only way shield use would benefit you is from stacking insane amounts of +Shield Defence Manastones,since block is rolled against your opponents accuracy it will only block given that your opponent has a low accuracy, which scales a lot quicker per level than your block will, meaning it will be entirely useless, plus you gimp the whole offensive abilities of a chanter with a mace/shield =]

Nah not at all :) more like a priest/druid hybrid.. A "Bard" class would be the propper thingy for him i suppose :) a chanter is a Buffer that deals sum dmg upp close :D
