Maybe make sure you learn the piece first so you don't have to rely so much on the sheet music. It's only there if you absolutely can't remember a part. And maybe make less exaggerated movements so you can get to your keys faster. The point of putting your heart into the music isn't making it look good, it's to get it to sound right to yourself and so that it's easy to play.
