University of Idaho beats Boise State in Basketball

We rushed cuz we hadn't beaten our rival in over ten years. It was a fun memory. I'm from Boise and have good friends at both schools. I just wish this rivalry had a little more class. It does both schools and the state a great injustice. Rep your city, rep your state and rep your school. Just do it with some grace ya'll.

@UGLYSTIKCOLIN What has BSU done recently? Beat down a SEC school by 14 points in their own backyard. Beat a PAC 12 school who beat USC earlier on in the year. Went 12-1 on the season. Beat the Vandals in Basketball couple weeks ago. 11-5 in mens BB so far. Graduated 100% of the football team for the past 5 years. If i remember right, Boise state won the 2007 WAC tourny and represented in the NCAA B-ball tourny whereas UOFI, probally didnt even qualify for the WAC tourny that season.

bsu only exists for the fall, and nothing else. This is also where over(according to the idaho alumi assoc.) 85% of the following and or fans, are not alumni nor students of bsu. I wouldnt be suprised if ur one of em.

Brennan, I hope to God you weren't comparing Idaho to BSU, You say "The Vandals suck...everything about that program sucks shit" Do i have to mention BSU's Graduation rate? While Schools like Idaho are in the percentage of the 80's or 90's BSU is down there in the mid 20's. My was forced to attend BSU and she said the football player's rarely showed up for clas and when they did they some how aced every test, Now tell me, whos the better school?

@56Mustang11 I don't know how old you are or if you have attained a college level education, but what I do know is that people don't attend a university for their athletics but for their academics. So yeah, thats great and all that you guys have an outstanding athletic program; but for us vandal fans, students, and alumni, its nice to know that we support a university that doesn't rely on football ticket sales and fast food chains (taco bell) to keep our schools tradition of excellence alive.

Im saying is whenever I have a conversation with a UofI fan they bring up academics, the conversation isnt about better graduation rates or GPA but it is about athletics. I admit Uof I has great academics, but when Im in a conversation about football I don't try to one up the other person by saying my school has better academics. I am from Boise and a Boise State fan but I chose to go to college at Stanford over Boise State and UI.
