This song reminds of my family.......Even thou Winifred "Fred" Burkle was just a character. She was a kind sweet soul. Just like my grandparents and my family.

I miss Fred too. She was the best. In a way, her story is not exactly over- not truly. There are the "After the Fall" graphic novels, and while is not quite what we Fred fans are looking for, there is more to Fred and Illyria.

I love this song!!! I wept like a child whenever this came on!! And when I was 8(now 15) and Tara died, I cried so much. I think it was because it was the first episode that Amber had her name in the main credits, then she died! I was 8 so....

This song is truly heart breaking. The first time I heard was on Angel. It was one of my favorite episodes, but also my least favorite. Every time I hear this song I think about Fred's death scene.

What album can you find this song on? Only found 1 with Kim Richey (Chinese boxes I think was the name of it) but it did not contain this track =(.

You can get this on her 2002 CD called "Rise". My favorite Kim Richey CDs are "Kim Richey" and "Bittersweet". You can also get her 2004 CD "Collection" which is sort of a greatest hits - it has the best of her earlier songs, plus "A Place Called Home". Chinese Boxes is also very good.

After seeing the angel epidsode of Fred dying, I had to look this song up. I've seen that episode a million times, but for some reason, just happen to listen to the song, and HAD to look it up. Amazing song, and I agree, very appropriate for Fred's sad transformation into powerful Elria. The singer Kim richey sounds like Sarah MClaughlin meets Alanis Morrisett time of tone and words. Would love to hear more from this singer in the future. Anyone with footage of a concert/CD, please post! <3

Whenever someone dies on a TV show i like, and the music plays, it doesn't really get me.

But on that episode of angel, when it started that little fred montage, with this amazing song, i cried like a baby, lol. I miss Fred. And Angel!..Kim is amazing.
