Scratches are not stuck on CD's, so you can't "take them off". Also, wiping in circles will destroy entire tracks, you should wipe from center outward only.

this is the best idea use chapstick and a soft towel

1. apply chap-tick on CD/DVD/game disc

2. spread it with you finger

3. wipe it all off with cloth/towel/tissue paper

4. wipe it again to remove the chap-stick (or it will make a glossy effect which will make the cd dvd read error when playing it so wipe it twice or three times

it will work try it now (IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT CHAP-STICK IT GOOGLE IT)
