  • i had severe rhumatic mitral valve and had it replaced dec 15th.at st francis hospital in indy.plus maze on a fib.they did a terric job.healing nicely.i had no choice but to replace not repair.downside have to take coumidin(blood thinner) the rest of my life.ty for this video

  • I think that surgery is better than heart replacement. Just imagine the amount of immunosupressant drugs you will take for your body not to reject the implant. Not to mention lifestyle changes =p

  • @zwitlipz i had relacement dec 15th . not really scared cause you wake up sore of course but not too bad. after 2 weeks i was sore but back to norm lol.hope you do well. reposr when its done.replacement is netter anyway. will last the rest of your life where repair usally needs redone in 7 to 10 yrs
