I will say from experience that acquiring FE albums these days is no mean feat. I managed to get "As Above, So Below" and "Uncertain Future" through trolling pawn shops on a nightly basis, but most folks actually have a life. :)

Unrelated thought: I hear that they released an EP in the 90's called 'The Shore' that was a total Machine Head rip-off. Anyone heard it?

Forced Entry never got the recognition they deserved from the 'labels' and the music 'industry', so they didn't get the exposure and promotion-this was before MySpace and the internet. The more I listen to Forced, the better and better they sound to me, even now. In fact, they were better then than 99% of the bands today.

I recently pulled out my CD of Uncertain Future. I play it at work and drive my much younger co-worker crazy with Octoclops. I learned this song on guitar back in the day from front to back. The guitarist did the vocals for two of their songs, while the bassist did the rest of the songs. As for the grunge influence, this band released this song a little bit before Grunge made it's mark on the world. Forced Entry could very well have been influencing Grunge music, because they did live in seattle after all.
