  • OOOOhhhhh Cris You're in troubllllle again!!!!

  • Theyre Called Samples, Lil wayne,Beyonce,LadyGaga, Every fuckin body does it ! Chris Sounds Way Better BTW

  • @MsBarbieEnt No, samples are with permission... and chris' version is crap compared to I'm not Alone

  • @Ashlee4EVERsimpson Bitch, STFU. Dont Talk To Me I Dont wanna see your name in my inbox again

  • Chris brown's producer did do it. But Brown has to approve it dumbasses. it's a shame that music now a days use samples from other songs that were out not 20 years ago but only 2 years. Horrible.

  • press 2 and 6 to compare :D

  • I can't stand Chris Brown but they don't really sound that much alike tbh. Dance/electronic beats often sound similar to others anyway.

  • Um..... vague similarity but I wouldn't call it a rip off. though i do hate chris brown:)

  • That sounds nuthin alike

  • It's DJ Frank E's fault lol

  • qhat bout Skream - Anticipate ft. Sam Frank???

  • They are suppose to ask can they use the beat the person made u know like contact the record company.

  • okay first of all Chris Brown doesn't make the beats to his songs, someone else did. secondly after Chris Brown realized that it was the same beat he gave Calvin Harris credit. he probably didn't know.

  • 0:24 and 1:07 ... no shame?

  • Calvin Harris is 1000x better then Chris Brown but I think Chris sampled it as long as the song isn't exactly the same it's cool to take ideas from other songs most artist take a bit of an idea from someone else just add your own twist to it. Still I don't like Chris lol

  • what a blatant rip off.

  • Chris brown should just give up on his career... why? you may ask. he beats up his wife and stole part of a Calvin Harris song... nothing but something a criminal would do

  • I like Chris a lot, but Calvin is my main man. I'm Not Alone was a great track.

  • calvin harris rocks

  • Fall out boy liked this video.

  • ironically enough, look up Jon O Bir's I Need You which came out a year prior to Calvin's I'm not alone. Same melody.

  • @FreakyBr0 That's not irony sir. It's just an interesting point.

  • I don't care who copied who, Calvin Harris deadmau5 version is the best shut up

  • Calvin Harris is blatantly superior, for a start he writes his own music...

  • Definitely the same. I'd say this: /watch?v=FuwTgZOKcf8 is, um, how would you put it, "influenced" by the above tracks, too, wouldn't you?

  • who cares who is better atleast calvin makes his own music. listen to the drums in you use to hold me and then 3x by chris brown.................

  • Calvin rocks!

  • Reminds me of TV Rock feat Rudy - In the air (Axwell mix) more than the Calvin song, tbh.

  • Chris Brown is obviously a huge fan of Calvin Harris

  • Comment removed

  • Calvin Harris is credited on Browns song under his real name Adam Richard Wiles, but I'm guessing from he said about choking on his breakfast he didn't know anything about it.

  • @korajill No, they credited Calvin after he wrote that "choking on his breakfast" tweet...

  • Comment removed

  • FUCK YOU CHRIS BROWN YOU TALENTLESS SACK OF CRAP

  • OOHHH MAY GOOOOD

  • discogs.com/artist/Adam+Wiles?noanv=1

Calvin Harris (real name Adam Wiles) made the song for Chris Brown.

  • why is justin beiber on the side there?---->

  • Despite being similar, they are different musically from each other. It may have been inspired by, but most songs can be very similar to others while also being very different.

  • Chris brown just changed da beat D:<

  • I Say soo i mashed it up D: dey sounded the same D:

  • Calvin Harris > Chris Brown

  • The rhythm is exactly the same. The chords are not. No rip off.

  • @JoeSingsBadly the chords are just reversed, maybe a little tweaked. And yes, the rhytm is EXACTLY the same. It's a rip off, first thing I thought when I heard the song.

  • true dat

  • shit like this happens all the time. either way, chris browns one still sucks compared to original calvin harris

  • i dont know...i love them both!!!but i actually knew calvin harris before chris brown...

  • love calvin harris, what chris brown has done counts as steeling :(

  • Calling Chris a thief when he's not a producer, nor did he produce his track. Blame David Guetta If anyone but seriously... Two completely different songs!

  • if calvin harris and chris brown were hanging over a cliff, and i had the strength to pull them both up, id do the world a favor and leave chris browns stealing ass hangin

  • he's black, ofc he stold

  • lol i wasnt reading the vid and when chris browns xyea was playing i thought it was calvin hariss's new song Lol

  • its not the same

  • omfg haha it sounds almost exactly the same lolol

  • still dont get how people don't understand that a synth setting cannot be copyrighted...

big deal, they used a similar (it's not exactly the same) setting which has been rinsed in trance music ANYWAY, so it wasn't Harris' synth in the first place.

The only time you can legally sue for this is if Chris Brown (who obviously DIDN'T MAKE THE TUNE IN THE FIRST PLACE) used the recording of the Harris tune without permission. Also, if you're saying," ITS THE SAME CHORDZ OMG!!!"

    welcome to music...

  • @DeanCFilms No the problem is the melody is almost exactly the same, this isn't a synth or chord issue.

  • Comment removed

  • hahahah i showed my little sister calvin harrises song and she started singing "ye-ye-yeah" hahah WOW chris brown, really? calvin harris is the king, dont copy his stuff :(

  • even if he did steal it, now we have 2 good songs to listen to, so doest it mather?

  • Calvin Harris didn't make that beat like but it's the introduction and how it gets in to the beat..

  • People don't realise Chris Brown didn't stole it. But his producer clearly did :D.

  • He even uses the same synth...

  • sue that pussy

  • oh my gooooooooooooood, NOBODY be stealing calvin harris' beats!!

  • the intro from Yeah 3x also "borrows" heavily from You Used to Hold Me. Also by Calvin Harris

  • in fact i think all these tracks are ripoffs from Art of Trance - madagascar (cygnus x mix)- not the ferry corsten mix, that is just another remix, cygnus x was the one who introduced that melody.

  • Alright, now go listen to "You Make Me Feel (feat. Sabi)" by Cobra Starship. Same tune. -_-' watch?v=tcRcGtlhbJ4

  • @TomorrowToYourEars the song you posted is still acceptable i guess. not close enough. but yeah chris brown is an ass.

  • wow, i didnt know calvin harris produce so many songs~! I Hear this beat in clubs alot, hey even way before yeah x3 !!

  • it's an obvious rip off and not even a good one, made the song suck.

  • CLUELESS CUNTS DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS A SYNTH, NOT A FUCKING SAMPLE.

SYNTHS HAVE MODIFIABLE COEFFICIENTS; LIKE GRAINTABLE WAVE SHAPES, LFOS, FILTERS.

ANYONE WITH 5 MINUTES TO SPARE CAN RECREATE AN ALMOST IDENTICAL SOUND.

AND YOU CANNOT FUCKING COPYRIGHT THAT.

    MOTHERFUCKERS!

  • @smartarse001 haha!

offense but i just find your comment genuinely hilarious. no sarcasm intended. seems like you're a sound engineer or whatever it is though.

  • @smartarse001 Agreed........

  • First it's not sampling IF HE DOESN'T FUCKING SAMPLE. Sampling would be using the EXACT melody and synth with the author's permission clearly this is not that. Not to mention that when I fist started using Ableton (the program used to create both of these songs) using "Operator the built in synth this was one of the simplest and easiest to make. Do you think the first person to use a guitar should 'sue' everyone who has used one since? No, there are only so many sounds you can make.

  • @icekingmonkey quite right, at most you could complain about someone copying your synth "patch", but that is just a bunch of modifications you may (or may not) have made to an already existing synth sound.

As for the "notes" - hardly fucking Mozart is it?

  • You idiots do know that C.Brown is not the one that PRODUCED the song?

    Go after the producer.

  • I still love yeah x3 lol

  • Calvin Harris is just pissed cause he's going nowhere.

  • @rehits1

HAHAHAHAHHA, Calvin Harris doesnt give a shit. Chris Brown has never made a live performance in front of that many people Calvin did!!!

  • @Dzastynas

LOL you serious? Chris Brown is known worldwide and has performed on some of the biggest yearly music events, Calvin Harris is known in about two countries as a shitty autotuned artist who if he ever does perform live more than likely lipsyncs.

  • @rehits1

"performing" is singing one song in the mtv awards or whatever. I mean true concerts, MUSIC FESTIVALS, where people come to listen to music, not the fucking show. Calvin isn't a good singer but his tunes are amazing and in addition Chris Brown uses lots of auto tune in his tracks also. Calvin is also known worldwide. But wtf, who cares about that, pop-culture is peace of shit in our days and CB is one of them. Look at black eyed peas. They are known everywhere but their music is shit.

  • @rehits1 ya......who's ranked no.1 in the top 40 charts now? BITCH

  • Could somebody please explain to me why nobody is mentioning: /watch?v=HCS-7BjbY0M . This song is EXACTLY the same as yeah 3x and much older?

  • @Aviciiio

I suppose that Yeah3x is more like Im Not Alone by Calvin Harris not the one you told. They're similar, though. But one way or another, Im not Alone is the oldest from these 3 and Yeah3x is the rip :)

  • CHRIS BROWN HAS NO CREATIVITY.

  • @kbs1212

    Hahahahahaha1 Thats funny.

    Tell another joke.

  • @mrcritic1 YOU HAVE NO CREATIVITY.

  • @kbs1212 Eeeeeh.

    Not as funny. Try again.

  • @mrcritic1 SHUCK MY FEMALE BALLS.

  • @kbs1212 ...#FAIL

  • @mrcritic1 WHY HAVE THEY NOT BEEN SHUCKED.

  • You can see better, just press 2, 7... 2,7...

    Major bits.

  • haha he copied the whole thing rofl the guy should sue him

  • i dont think its stealing...its just the music a lil bit but nothing else.... i like both songs.. and i dont get them similar!! AT ALL

  • Good on him. Elvis's entire career was based on stealing African-American music because a black face didn't fit the bill unless it was hidden the radio waves! Now tables are turned on white folk, they're all in rage. Oh well!

Whole African-American culture has been plagiarised.

Not a fan of Chris Brown, but keep making that green brotha.

  • Yep, second one is better...

  • as a dance producer I can safely say that there is a good amount of plaguiarism in the industry, its easy to make a track and then realise it sounds like something else, but this really is a bit of a blatent rip off...

  • fuck chris brown, that fucking girl beater cant even make hs own beats

  • yeah 3x sounds more like i'm not alone (tiesto remix) because there is the same bass drum.

  • Chris Brown does it better anyway

  • @wilchesE no

  • Sounds a bit more like.. In the air - axwell

  • I was in Ireland in the summer of 2009 and Calvin Harris was playing this song at the O2 concert held there! Chris Brown and his production team should own up and give Harris credits and royalties. Mick Jagger and the Stones had to do this for their song "Anybody seen my baby" which was quite similar to KD Lang's "Constant cravings". Stones album credits Lang as the writer!

  • chris brown producer...didnt produce this.... neither did calvin harris, its a 90s dance tune sample

  • @billysm8 a sampling is with permission, dickhead

  • @nbamike23 go to Calvin's twitter ;D

  • @Ashlee4EVERsimpson

ok, you have a point there, but still it's a little different. it's not copied 100%.

  • @nbamike23 He didn't. calvin Harris called him out on it on his twitter you moron.

  • @nbamike23 It's not a beat.

  • @nbamike23 So Calvin would "choke on his cereal" when he first heard it if he knowingly gave permission...?

  • @nbamike23 SHUTUP WENIS FACE.

  • @nbamike23 are you actually defending Chris Brown? Either you're really that clueless, or you're Chris Brown undercover (which is alot more likely lol).

  • @divinesleeper

I could care less actually. I just like messing with ppl, but lets not forget Chris Brown does have SOME good songs... i mean its not like he's Rebecca Black.

Honestly though, I hate this song, both versions.

  • @billysm8 it's definetely ripping off. stupid wanker stealing his songs without rights. also, stealing the song is stupid, so uninventive. i fucking hate chris brown anyways

  • @billysm8 chris brown fan is mad

  • chris brown can try whatever he wants, IM NOT ALONE is like 10 times better!!!

  • Chris Brown didn't produce it himself, so he's not exactly the one to blame. But there is an industry connection between Harris and the producer DJ Frank E. Who knows.

  • 2 thousand years of stealing Black Soul Music, and as soon a black guy does it, he's drawn & quartered!

    Hilarious.

  • @MrJay429 a lot of black guys been doing it since the 80s

  • i like how you only tagged the songas Calvin Harris, also i have a more straight to the point comparison on my channel, seriously.

  • yeah that monkey probly did rip this song off, but more to the point, Chris browns track "duices" is the biggest FUCKEN RIP OFF EVER, he should actual be charged with theft for this one, listen- Chris Brown - Duices, TENSNAKE - Coma Cat.

  • @XTRAVAGANGSTA1 are you deaf... tensnake sounds nothing like that... its rihanna te amo... people say its sampled

  • @KYZA699 hahahah you must be fucken joking! it IS ComaCat with a few beats taken out, I think you are the one whos fucken deff mate. try lisnin to it again.

  • @XTRAVAGANGSTA1 IS IT FUCK... you're the only person in the world who thinks deuces sounds remotely like that

  • @KYZA699 hahahaha did you get droped as a child or something? dumbass. cos if you cant here Coma Cat in that your ears are fucked!

  • @XTRAVAGANGSTA1 lol.. i can REALLY hear it now.. can hear the beat.. not only from deuces, but from forever, and rihanna umbrella, and empire state of mind... you've merked the whole industry... coma cat is what every producer copies

  • sounds similar but calvin's is in a higher key than chris'

  • @AlvinDaAwesomest thats so it dosent sound xactly the same, if it did he wouldnt be able to steal it.

  • Chris Brown didn't, the DJ that made the beat FOR Chris Brown did!

  • Its not the same, similar, but not the same same. Not even similar enough to make a fuss out of. im not defendin CB, i hate him

  • geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesus

ive been breaking my mind trying to find out which song did chris brown rip off from.

i knew it was too goood to be true!

  • Chris Brown SUCKS!

    Calvin is the BEST!

  • Damn! I'm a huge Calvin Harris fan, but until just now, had not heard of this Chris Brown song. The sad part is, because people who listen to Chris Brown lack both taste and intelligence, they probably have no idea who Calvin Harris is, and probably couldn't hear the similarities anyways. "The words are completely different." - I can just hear it now.

  • 31 people like Chris Brown

  • Chris Brown is the MAN!

  • @LittleWayneCarter619 when it comes to beating women and jacking beats, youre right!

  • It goes like this "Madagascar - Art of trance" > "I'm not Alone - Calvin Haris" > "Chris Brown - Yeah 3X" Still Calvin Haris deserves the most credit because basically his is the best!

  • im quite sure Calvin Harris copied that melody of a trance tune? I'm quite sure..

  • Chris Brown: another talentless dickhead. And a violent and dangerous domestic abuser. WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE ABOUT THE GUY!

  • @pidgin haha talentless. you really have no fucking clue

  • 0:22 and 1:07 u can straight up hear the resemblance

  • yea i think one of them jaked but idk wich one came out first

  • @brandyskittles Calvin Harris' I'm Not Alone came out over a year before..

  • IMMEDIATELY, as SOON as i heard the song i was like WTF. CALVIN HARRIS SUE HIS ASS.

  • @Chrustay177 LOL seriously. I was dancing and I was like FUCK YEAH CALVIN HARRIS, and then it wasn't.

  • wtf its a bit the same but its not a rip off stupid

  • @jamacinnation -.- ur so naive

  • calvin harris ftw chris brow lassey bashing shit defo ripped off harris!

  • Lol @ Chris Brown being "brilliant". Mozart was brilliant, Chris Brown plays to a fad

  • Chris Brown's song sounds like some cheesy dance beat from the early 90's same thing with Ushers 'DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again' So much of today's music is just recycled and rehashed to death. >_< I'm not a huge fan of Calvin Harris's I'm Not Alone, but at least he has some really good/unique dance music under his belt, and he tries to think outside the box :P Unfortunately he won't get the same credit as Usher/Chris Brown/Rhianna etc :P

  • there is a similarity but it's only a small fraction of the song. Chris brown's song is brilliant not only cos of this beat, but because of the other pieces of music, his voice, the lyrics and his dance.

  • @MrBilalAziz Yes because you can hear his dance.

  • if you compare 0:24 with 1:17 you can definitely tell the difference :) the difference that chris brown is a prick...

  • if you compare 0:12- 0:26 of this video with Calvin Harris - You Used To Hold Me, between 0:32 - 0:46 its really the same beat. LOL

  • @skwerl13 yeah through this video I heard the buildup sound a bit like You Used To Hold Me too...

  • Calvin is a muuuchh better producer than Brown judging by this..

Ive never heard either of them, Im a trance producer xD

  • they sound nothing like eachother?:L

  • @heartsforgymnastics Of course they do.

  • @GingerKibble i dont see how though:-/

  • @heartsforgymnastics Its not the lyrics its the tune, from 0:25 - 0:39 sounds just like 1:08 - 1:24

  • Did excpect that from Chris Brown :L
