very nice!! my family owns a gt1 championship edition c6z06 with a c5r shifter ,haltec tuner, and doghouse.. its an awesome car as is!! all you talkin bout handling are WRONG!!! its a TOTALLY different beast than the c5z06 and has a way better chassis.. the active handling and traction controll are really awesome!!  whenever it starts to get away it will correct itself and put power down HARD almost feels magic!! and not to mention the standard c6z06 has freakin 325's on the back!!!

Don't get me wrong this IS a beautiful machine. What I don't get is I have a 530 RWHP C5 ZO6 Vette that spins like crazy till 4th gear and even then a little wheel spin (to not spin I have to preheat my ZR drag radials and it cost a fortune to do that everytime you want to lay into it). What is the use of so much power (anything more than 600 RWHP)?

Thanks for the props... Most of our car will hold 1000 rwhp to the road...if you spend money on the right stuff you will be fine.. you should look into your tire and suspension combo...@ 600ish you should be fine... i still enjoy 500-600 hp cars and they do scare me because you kinda forget that they will get away from you  Be careful !

I know quite few shops who have built sponsored project Z06's to make nothing but the highest whp available. Then trailer it around everywhere to shows and shit and not run it once.

the other way people manage to get this kind of power to the ground is the manage boost by gear, basically they will limit the amount of power the car has in each gear based on how much power it can handle in that gear, so in the case of this car (though i dont want to speak for ATLPF) you may not see that 1200 HP till 5th and 6th gear (assuming 6th has been replaced in a tranny build up), these systems make controlling the car a lot easier
