@plakatjohn well, depending on how much you want to spend, you can make a nice HO scale (or HOn3, a personal favorite.) in that size for probably a total of ~$1,500. If you wanna spend a little more, you can make a HUGE N scale in an 8x10' space, but probably maybe in excess of $2000. I suppose you could make a Z scale, but it would just be horribly expensive. (maybe $4,000 or more). I wouldn't suggest O scale because most radius could be about 44". Hope this helped.

Genius use of mirrors. But I think your trains are running WAY too fast. A slow moving train looks much heavier (and more realistic) especially in the sharp Mârklin-curves.
A great layout, I had a "Z" layout when Marklin first brought it out, about 18years ago, I think, time flies! they were only 3 pole motors then, I think they are improved now? I had a Zeppelin aircar too.
