@M109RDOWNUNDER yea the made in China thing isn't great but I still love my Microfleece. I'd like to buy USA made stuff too, but it's like 2x the price or more and I'm too broke for that, ya know? anywhoo, you'll totally love this jacket, I've been wearing mine for six months now and it rocks! Recommend getting a US flag patch (or whatever country you may be from) for the sleeve. it really completes the look of the jacket. Enjoy!
@AirForceAce3571 I got my jacket, it's good but not great! zipper's are cheap and are sticky, the zip on the left side pocket is stuck most times. Some of the stitching is lose, but nothing major, would I recommend it? sure but if there is a different brand I would try them as well.
@BlueishLightz i don't think it's heavy enough for that kind of cold. I've worn mine in 30-60 degree F temps and been very comfortable, but I suspect that if you get much colder than 30, esp. with high wind, that you may want something heavier and thicker to use. My POU on this jacket is a fall/spring jacket for mild-cool-slightly cold temps (I live int Northeast US too) and my OD Condor fleece has been outstanding for me in that role. Get one, it rocks! Hope that helps!
@AirForceAce3571 i don't even live in the U.S. i live in Switzerland, if you dont know where that is check on the world map, it's under germany, on the right of france, the left of aurstia and over italy inbetween them,we speak 3 languages, check my channel for more info, any way i wanted something i could use in fall winter and i'd use bdu's in summer spring,so if u have any idea for winter please reply! check out Airsoft(dot)ch and go under gear and clothing, u would find what i'm looking for.
@BlueishLightz First off, my apologies if I offended you, wasn't my intention at all! I meant that part of my comment to be a reference point for where I use the jacket, probably should've said "BTW" or something like that instead. I studied int'l relations in college & spent alot of time studying Europe, & I'm very familiar w/ where Switzerland is. Anyway, for winter time I usually wear Carhartt jackets to stay warm. No idea if they're sold where you are, but they work great for me. peace.
@AirForceAce3571 why would i be offended bro ? , secondly carhatt ill look it up ! and finally nice to see people who know about my miniscule but rich country! :D you sir have earned a SUB
@ChrisGrisham Our webstore is configured based on actual shipping costs...and that is why we offer multiple shipping options...usps is cheaper for lighter items and ups is cheaper for heavier items. Please make sure to check both options before placing your order. Your shipping was actually $13 for PRIORITY mail, but I will look into it and make sure the calulator was correct. We greatly appreciate your business! PFIDude
I bought the softshell about a month ago for urban wear and other things loved it. Does anyone think this will shrink if I wash it? Reason is my softshell is a small but I actually prefer a tighter fit for what I do with it. I have not washed it yet but am curious on shrinkage with this one. I will be ordering it in black size small.
I take back all my bad mouthing about Condor gear. I've only seen one bad piece of gear out of a LOT that I've purchased now. Good materials fairly good stitching now. I'm definitely going to get one of these.
@Nutnfancy: You added an updated comment on your softshell Jacket review that Condor had fixed the size issues. Does that go for this microfleese as well?
Update to my previous comment Nutn: Got my jacket yesterday and it's awesome!! it was everything your review said it was and I think it will provide me with great service for a long time. US CAV was also a pleasure to deal with , great service and super fast shipping (2 business days!) Thanks again for the great information and the awesome discount code!! Keep up the great vids and LONG LIVE TNP!!
I just took a leap of faith Nutn and bought one of these in OD Green from USCAV. Used your discount code (Thank you very much for that!!!) and paid only $36 dollars! Can't wait to get it and see if it's as good as advertised!
GREAT jacket for the price. Winter here in Louisiana can be 30 in the morning and evening and up to 60 in the afternoon. The Jacket is warm enough for the mornings but is still great for those random warm afternoons. Only had a few looses threads when I got it but easily fixed. Cleans up nicely. Perfectly sized for layering a light fleece under it and a wind/rain jacket over it for my backpacking trips. Goes nice with my uniform. Overall a quality jacket. Thanks TNP for turning me on to it.
I bought one of these after my wife got me the Condor Tactical Softshell for Christmas. I found the softshell was not quite warm enough when the weather got down into the teens so I use the microfleece like a liner inside my softshell and it works awesome the 2 look great together and aren't overly bulky. Highly reccomend getting this as a cool weather jacket or as a layer under a shell. Both the microfleece and softshell were bought from @pfidude hit him up on here or his website
I just got the one with the hood. Looks way more comfortable and durable. Look for either OE Tech Sierra Micro Fleece, or Condor Micro Fleece, since they're both the same.
I need sizing advice. I'm 6' tall and 200 lbs. My long sleeve shirts are 17 neck & 34-35 sleeves. Which size condor fleece should I buy for casual wear?

What are the odds? I've been looking at this and other fleece and what do you know? You've reviewed it! haha! Great stuff. Thanks Nutn, Veri, and TNP!
@CGD08 These are great jackets! Once you start price shopping, make sure to check out PFIDude's store (the link is on his channel page) and use the discount code "nutnfancy". It may very well be the best price you can find. =) -- Veri
Hi Veri, thanks for the reply! I was wondering. In the video the od green looks more like foliage green. But on PFI's store it looks much more green. I'd prefer the latter, but which is it like in real life? Condor customers and resellers have said that their colors can vary by batch. I tried contacting PFI's store, but I can't seem to find a way. I guess you have to make an account to do so?
@CGD08 CGD, if you go to PFI's website here on YouTube, then scroll down on the left side in the profile information, he's got a link for his channel. Click that and then click the "Contact" link on his storefront page. He's very accessible and friendly, and has the kind of customer service that you don't see much of anymore...just outstanding. Plus, he'll probably know exactly what you're talking about as far as these colors goes.-- Veri
you didnt mention the pit zips ... well maybe they arent on this one ... the one i have doesn't have the shoulder protection and mine has a hood and pit zip vent
I REALLY wish I would've found this last week! This is a nice fleece to go under my 5.11 softshell-exactly what I was looking for. Just placed an order. Who knows-maybe it will make it by thursday :). Either way, I look forward to trying it out & doing a writeup on it..
I bought this jacket on friday on PFIDude's website and i got it 2day,tuesday...and that was with standard shipping...in my opinion, that is fast shipping...and i love it already, gonna test it out in the wilderness for the next few days out camping...but i'm sure it will do nicely...thanx again nutn, veri, and PFI Dude, keep it rockin
i take back what i said earlier, after calling them,i found out they do ship internationally, just gotta call heheheh...lookin 4ward 2 gettin this jacket very soon ^_^
i'm rather frustrated that PFIDude's website doesn't ship 2 PR...and US Calvary has a pretty steep shipping cost for my money...so this blows...i would love 2 own this jacket someday though...
Man i just love your AR set-up......do you have the YHM flip up iron sights on your rail under your scope? i kinda like the option of having irons or optics
I just received my Mircofleece I was a little nervous about sizing as 52 suit size can be a snug fit around the shoulders. I’m actually very happy with how the jacket fits around the torso and its not as tight in the arms as the LA Policegear fleece is. My only issue with the jacket is that it doesn’t come down far enough for my liking. It only comes down an inch or two past the belt. As someone mentioned it isn’t very good for concealed carry.
I am 6'2" / 220 lbs (188 cm / 100 kg) and I just received my size XX-Large jacket. Sleeve length is just right with the cuffs folded in. The body length comes down to the top of my jeans pocket, about the same as my size L polo shirt. Overall size is just right, though I would want something longer if I was trying to conceal a firearm in a OWB holster. Lots of pocket space. Looks like a good purchase, though I haven't been able to wear it much yet due to sunburned shoulders.
Just in time to replace some pull-over fleece with those shallow lose-your-kit pockets which I hate as well! Great professional level review, placing order now. Nutnfancy rock on!
Nutnfancy you do great work sir. I was wondering, since I recently purchased a WWII military surplus Mosin Nagant, if you could maybe do a review on one. They, from what I've read, are excellent rifles. I am going to restore mine and maybe take it out every once and a while to cycle some rounds for the most part. I know that collecting antiques isn't what your all about but if you could do a review on the Mosin Nagant I would be much obliged.
@aldave Depends on how you think about it.. here in the UK i could easily buy a £10 (near $15) army surplus pullover on ebay or elsewhere and probably get the same level of usefulness with 10x the cool factor. I own a commando issue pullie so i can vouch for it. It costs around $15 to $20 to import it to the USA.
Great review. Always like the fact that your reviews come after using it instead of someone review something that is still on the rack and never using it.
I must say I started watching your vids and would skip stuff like these. Though as time goes on I'm starting to get more from these vids I need a fleece now haha good attention to detail as always Nutn.
Very well performed gear review dude! All your practice over 2 years pays off in the end. You covered all of the essential items in one pass. Good voice! The product is also convincing too. Thx.
I've had serious issues with condor gear in Afghanistan. Wearing your tactical gear in a controlled environment is one thing but gunning in a real world situation.... not a fan. The one I bought ripped and ever since have avoided condor gear...
Unfortunately for me the winter in my area is almost over so I won't get much use out of this until fall. But once fall is here I will definitely be wearing that thing out.
outer pouch pocket zippers go the wrong way. Experienced outdoorsman note that zippers should close DOWN, preventing them from opening on a long hike (gravity). But looks like a great jacket
Much better ... I always look at "SportsWear Manufacturers" because they get specialized on each type of weather plus in the sportman requirements so whats better for a tactic clothing......
hey NutN, man you still never cease to amaze me with your quality vids! I wish I had this vid when I spent $100 on my REI Neo jacket, oh well "live and learn from NutN"
@SeeksImagery I'll support ME and continue to buy the best gear for the best price. Well done to the Chinese for making great affordable kit like this. Mercantilism died for good reason.
Nice reviews! I'm glad I waited for this one. Like you said, I can afford two of these instead of one of the pricier one you recently reviewed. Besides, these will perform better for my needs here in SoCal. Keep the reviews coming! (how about one on the Becker BK 11?)
Just ordered one from PFIDudes shop. Back ordered until the end of May early June! :( Oh well, it'll be a nice surprise when it shows up. Thanks for the coupon code.
Ohh snap, been waiting for both condor vids for what seems like a long time, I have to thank TNP and Veri for the heads up on this months ago, USCAV is still back ordered but PFI dude has a great deal rocking check out his page, awesome review Nutn, keep em coming
@Pawnbroker00 Did you really just call a decision to prefer a product made in another country besides China "retarded" in order to support your point? What are you 6 years old?
Love it man. I've been eyeing this jacket for a bit so I'm happy to see a detailed review, and finally get to pick one up this Thursdays. Hell yeah!!!
@twiho Why wouldn't a water membrane make sense for a fleece? Maybe you get caught out in a foggy/misty day in New England and your regular fleece get's drenched where your buddy has one with a water membrane on his and his sitting fat and happy... now you're hating life and he isn't.
@74Hobbes Because fleece is to be breathable and any water-proof membrane kills breathability big time. I just think it is nonsense. And the membrane would have to be the top layer anyway for otherwise the fleece would get soaked. To me separate rain jacket makes much more sense.
@twiho But isn't that just one more thing to carry when you might have a limited load out to begin with? Weight as well....? How much other gear or whatever would you be able to bring in place of that rain garment instead?
@74Hobbes I guess you are right. Weight has never been an issue for me (which is a thing that I can't get to agree on with Nutn). I am just not used to see waterproof fleece or softshell. Maybe I'll change my opinion on this in the future.
Ordered one, thanx for the review!

Great review. Always like the fact that your reviews come after using it instead of someone review something that is still on the rack and never using it.
choctawhunter85 1 year ago
Do you get this stuff for free to review? If not how much do you have to spend per year on gear?
Olorinii 1 year ago

@USDAChuckSteak Thank You!!! Glad I can help. Now if Condor would expedite my shipment then we would all be happy;).
PFIDude 1 year ago
@PFIDude Indeed, come on Condor. :-)

Loving the condor gear reviews, lots of great products.
Layer underarmor coldgear, this fleece, and a softshell jacket can keep you warm in pretty much any mild to moderate environment.

Continue to support Chinese Airsoft Knock offs see how far that gets you.

@SeeksImagery I would stop supporting them, but whats the point? The government and big business has already sold us to them anyway.

(how about one on the Becker BK 11?)
coachace123 1 year ago
"as opossed to the gorilla elbow" :) I always laugh at your on the fly humor.
Awesome review & blown away by the price! I predict they'll sell a ton of them after this vid.
Agreed this fleece wouldn't be as impressive at a higher cost, but as is today it rocks!

Made in China. There is one point off. Not a show stopper for me but still a characteristic I frown upon. Thanks for the look Nutn.
TheGrayman1234 1 year ago
@TheGrayman1234 I agree! My shoes are made in india! As soon as i saw that i burnt them in the fire!
Jokes, but it is retarded to frown on made in china shit. As far as things go right now, the west is fucked already

Please, differentiate between wind and water membrane. Water membrane (like Goretex) makes no sense for a fleece jacket.
twiho 1 year ago 4
@twiho Why wouldn't a water membrane make sense for a fleece? Maybe you get caught out in a foggy/misty day in New England and your regular fleece get's drenched where your buddy has one with a water membrane on his and his sitting fat and happy... now you're hating life and he isn't.
74Hobbes 1 year ago
@74Hobbes Because fleece is to be breathable and any water-proof membrane kills breathability big time. I just think it is nonsense. And the membrane would have to be the top layer anyway for otherwise the fleece would get soaked. To me separate rain jacket makes much more sense.
twiho 1 year ago
@twiho But isn't that just one more thing to carry when you might have a limited load out to begin with? Weight as well....? How much other gear or whatever would you be able to bring in place of that rain garment instead?
74Hobbes 1 year ago
@74Hobbes I guess you are right. Weight has never been an issue for me (which is a thing that I can't get to agree on with Nutn). I am just not used to see waterproof fleece or softshell. Maybe I'll change my opinion on this in the future.
