  • what are the chords he is playing?

  • @bombshell7100

I think guitar chords used are:

    E - Am - G - F

  • @byoo24

    thanks abunch for investigating

  • nice job, and for god's sake people, enough with the stupid comments on classical guitars already, he knows it, I know it, we all know it, so shut up.

  • Very nice - without wordy instructions. One just watches and listens.

  • Thanks a lot !!!!! I am having a fist look at bulerias and this comes in very handy to know :D

  • good lesson,wish i knew the cords

  • its an e major

  • Try G, F, E. Then try Am, G, F, E

  • so do u need that kind of guitar?!?

because i have an acoustic guitar......the bigger ones........so do i need a particular one?!?!

  • You need a nylon strung guitar.

  • You should have at least a cheap classical to start with. Put a capo on the second fret and tune to pitch, this will give you the Flamenco sound. You should not attempt this technique on steel string guitars, it will rip your finger nails off.

  • This is way cool!!!! Thank you.

  • nice but the place where you are tapping looks really worn out, you practice a lot right?

  • one question... how do you get the tapping sound if you dont have long nails??... is it compulsory to grow your nails??

  • If you look closely you will see that the nails of the m and a fingers are not the first point of contact. The flesh contacts the body of the guitar first. As the flesh presses down with (most of) the impact and compresses, the nail follows and produces the nail sound. To hit the guitar with only the nail tip will break the nail. So the nail sound you hear is really only an after effect. You obviously need nails to pluck the strings, as well as for golpe, but keep them as short as possible.

  • this is hard :o

  • fantastic!

    thanks for posting

  • The lessons are really interesting and well done. As beginner I would like appreciate also the view on the right hand.

  • I want to play like Pepe Romero!

  • I LOVE listening to Flamenco, for some reason I can listen it for hours! I started to learn guitar 2 years ago and I've been playing both classic and electric. I had a teacher who taught classic, but I learned everything really fast and he couldn't teach me more technique. Now that I want to learn flamenco, I bought a book, but my hand is not used to techniques, like rasgue. I'm more used to start it from my index finger, although I should with my ring finger. Is there any advice you can give??

  • Visit the website. There is information about rasgueado techniques there.

  • bu çaldığı parçanın tam adı filan var mı hangi parçadan alınma bunun tamamı lazım? lütfen

  • bu sadece ispanyol guitar calmanin bir yonu.

  • you are a savior!

  • i'm not a very experienced guitar player but some advice for those that want to practice this

be caseful if you use nails to do the taps. it can damage the paint.

  • This guitar has a plastic plate on the guitar body where I am tapping. Hard to see in this video. The tap is called a golpe and the tapping plate is called a golpador. Naturally you will damage the guitar surface if a tapping plate is not in place. It doesn't have to be clear plastic like mine, but get something stuck on by a luthier or guitar repairer.

  • heh flamenco is too difficult for me anyway :p

i'll try flamenco in a year or 2.

right now i'm still learning to use the whole neck of the guitar. also, i'm still in the progress of growing my nails so flamenco is out of my reach for now

  • muchas gracias, ess grandioso

  • siempre me pregunto, "como diablos salen tantos sonidos de una sola guitarra?" gracias, muchas gracias, que dios lo vendiga!

  • Great intuitive videos, was wondering if you could put show something on thumb picking, cheers.

  • hello can u please tell me which is the chord progression used at the end???

  • The B and E treble strings are played open

355400 (G barre chord without the barre)

133200 (F barre chord without the barre)

    022100 (E chord)

  • Cool stuff. Keep it up.

  • is there here a playing from juan martin, el arte flamenco?

  • I learned a lot from Juan Martin's books and videos.

  • oh great i am also trying to learn from him, but it seems you already arrived to very good level since long time...I watched your buleria performance also. Would be great if you think about making the 3rd buleria "introduction" only of juan martin, maybe I (& others) can finally understand how to perform it..thanks for all of your lessons
