How to install HSPL (HardSPL) to the HTC HD2 (Leo)

I can't enter the bootloader mode. I had this problem once before but after trying dozends of times i finally got there, but i don't remember which SPL i had and now im having the same issue, can't enter to bootloader.. This is pulling me crazy :/ Im trying to flash a new rom to get my usb connection hopefully working..

Also, after my phone is connected, it reboots to the boot loader screen, but it fails to connect to the usb and says "CRITICAL ERROR FLOW : 00000001 ERROR CODE 00000002 Description : USB Connect failed!" does anyone know whats wrong? I've tried many times and always the same thing happens. any help would be great ! :)

I had issue where I couldn't install HSPL because it got stuck at the 4-colour screen. I reset my device to factory settings, connected it to my puter, let Sync Centre do its thing, and then installed HSPL no problems. I think some of the stuff I had installed might have got in the way of a clean HSPL install

@DriftAngelV try to remove your battery and then replace it. But before you turn it on, hold down both the volume up & down buttons that are on the side. While holding those 2 buttons, restart the phone.

@JeromeRevels09 i had the same thing you have to sync your phone with active sync.....when you connect the phone to the pc you are asked to choose between modem,activesync and memory storage choose activecyn and let windows sync with your phone then try to run hspl and there you go voila ;)

Hi, having followed this from the xda thread, my question is how do I access the 'bootloader' on my Leo to verify my SPL version prior to installing HPSL? Is bootloader an app already somewhere on my phone? The process on your video seems simple enough from then on. Your help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

this is how you go to bootloader

1. press and hold volume down key

2. briefly press power button.

3. keep holding down volume down key until the tricolor screen appear and it should reveal you SPL version.
