I CREATED THE ONLY RELIABLE FULL-AUTO RUGER 10/22 .22LR SUB MACHINE GUN ON THIS EARTH. We are living in the 'golden age' of firearm design & modification. Look at this wild thing on my YouTube video. I sell a DVD video that explains an easy way to convert any semi-auto RUGER 10/22 .22LR rifle into a true full-auto. *All other RUGER full-auto conversions suffer from 'bolt-bounce / light-strikes' that cause many malfunctions. My conversion has been proof tested with no malfunctions.
I have to agree with voodoo4u1975. Shame to mod a 40 year old sporter 10-22. Could've picked up a new one to mod for 160 bux. I would have paid more than that for the old sporter.

hey I love you're vid's man they are very insightful
I just started getting in to Firearms and im 35 and I just passed the PAL test here in Canada and now im awaiting my PAL number so I can Buy a Firearm. I did how ever put money down on a Ruger 10/22 and on a Mossburg Mavric 88.
Please tell me you bought a new one to modify. I have several, my favorite would impress the hell out of you, trust me. But the one with a real brass front sight from grandpa is in the back of the safe in it's own place with respect.
made a 17 hm2 out of mine with a choate stock only problem encountered was the screws he says to use locktite on kept coming loose so i steelbeded my rail to my reciever... fixed it forever
@kickedintheballs2000 what is the name of the auto bolt latch you bought for yours or is there a certain brand i should buy from? Thank you...and great video
awesome gun, i just got one today and its the sweetest rifle, im getting a stock similar to that witht the aimpoint, and a muzzle brake, how accurrate is that stock? my friend had one and the accuracy sucked becasue the stock was not a very tight fit so it rattled around
Nice setup! Anyone looking for "tactical" .22s for training should also check out the GSG-5 and the SIG 522. Also there are .22 conversions for the AR as well.
reading customer reviews on the hot lips magazines convinced me to only buy steel lips, i hear the eagle ones are even worse. maybe thats why eagle mags are dirt cheap
ive got 4 butler creek 25rd mags and there great as far as not jamming, but they tend to fall out if you dont hold them in place... ive got 2 off brand 30rd mags and they work great... it's strange, but the 10/22 is the best .22 out there as far as im concerned. good looking 10/22 youve got man.
thanks for the answer, that's a bummer man. That and the fact that the bolt does not hold open on the last shot are making want this rifle a little less. The reputation is incredible though.
thanks for the video. it's very detailed. i just want to know if the Christie & Christie Super Stock comes with the extended mag release, And where did you get that red dot??
I didnt realize that changing the stock would be so easy I am very mechanical minded I can follow direction and yours are so clear and great for a layman. Could you tell me (ignoring location) 'about' how much I can expect to pay for a factory and base model 10/22?
No problem man and don't be scared by used firearms ( I buy used all the time ) just make sure you give the firearm a good once over before buying it and many firearm stores have a 30 days return policy anyways.
Great vid thanks :), I am adding a 10/22 to my collection soon and plan to put a new stock on and stuff and was worried about doing it but this vid helped me alot and now I am confident I can do it :)
so hey man i gotta question, there is 2 different types of the 10/22...the regular 10/22 witch it the large one and the carbine 10/22 which is the one i just bought, theres not much different in size between the 2
some ppl say the carbine is the most popular but idk
do most after market part(stocks) fit both rifles?
it would be a pain to shop around for model specific stocks, since most sellers would know what i was talking about if i was to ask. lol
Hey kicked. Im probably purchesing a 10/22 in the next few weeks and was wondering if you could do an accuracy vid @ various ranges and stuff like that. Wadaya say..... Itll be fun!

No you can not Fold the V grip back but you can remove it. I got Christie stock over many others because A: Its was good deal for the money. B: Its built like a tank and has lots of places to put stuff. C: I wanted a Tactical set-up and it pretty much comes with everything for just that type of set-up.
With out it I would have had to get everything seprite and I'm pretty sure it would have cost around $100 bucks more that way.
And I think the best version is really up to the user thats the best thing about the 10/22 you can truly fit the firearm to your self and whatever type of shooting you plan on doing.
I'm a fan of Tactical shooting so I set mine for just that but some people like a nice tac driver ( Put on a Bull barrel , nice target stock , little trigger work ) And you got a nice little tac driver.
Cool stuff. Careful, though, modifying a .22 like that may wind up getting the government to ban it because it "looks" like an assault rifle. (insert eye-rolling animation here)
Well I was going to put something about just that in the clip but I forgot.
Many of the Hi-cap mags are not that reliable and it can be hard to find a good hi-cap ( Even the 25 round Butler Creek I got runs like shit if you put more than 19 rounds in it ).
Best bet is to find a Mag with Steel Feeding lips.
I liked it before :P

What was it you said you use on the screws to keep them from loosening? I couldn't catch the name.

Lock tite ( The blue lock tite , not the red ).
Its kind of like a glue that helps keep the screws from backing them selfs out over time.

kickedintheballs2000 3 years ago
Excellent video. I also was handed down a 30yr old Ruger, and I plan to upgrade as well. Is it worth installing a scope on a .22? Thanks
laamor99 3 years ago
Well its all about how you plan on using it but yes a Scope can be a very help full tool with them longer shots.
( And it don't have to be no 100 dollar scope or nothin , just a nice 30-40 dollar scope and you'll be hitting Soda can's a 50 yards pretty easy )
kickedintheballs2000 3 years ago
Can you fold back the vertical grip? Also, what made you decide on the Christie stock over many others?
Thanks for your response.
laamor99 3 years ago
No you can not Fold the V grip back but you can remove it. I got Christie stock over many others because A: Its was good deal for the money. B: Its built like a tank and has lots of places to put stuff. C: I wanted a Tactical set-up and it pretty much comes with everything for just that type of set-up.
With out it I would have had to get everything seprite and I'm pretty sure it would have cost around $100 bucks more that way.
kickedintheballs2000 3 years ago
Have you considered changing your standard barrel to a .920 bull barrel?
laamor99 3 years ago
Not really cause I already have a 22 tac driver rifle with a bull barrel and I wanted this to more of a tactical rifle that I can beat up alittle.

To tell you the truth I'm not really sure ( Never shoot a compact 10/22 ) But as long as the receiver is the same size I think it should fit fine.

Humboldt1337 3 years ago
Very cool intro song! As always, nice hat!

PaulyCracker 3 years ago
Its from the Beowulf Soundtrack.
