I, personallly, think you should adopt a kitty from a shelter. Some purebred cats are really cool and can be found at shelters, but I think regular kitties are better. Whichever way you go (breed or non-breed) be sure to pick out an affectionate, friendly, playful kitty.
Yes, she's not shy about stating her demands. We believe that Munchkin has some siamese in her (blue eyes!) so that could explain Simcha's talkativeness. I've also heard that tail kinks are a siamese trait and the tip of her tail is bent - not that it's visible through all that fluff!

Marble never begs and will eat anything including Georgie's portions! Maybe that's why she never begs!
