If your partner died when you weren't married but you were together for 20 or so years any of their living relatives have a claim to their property over you. If a gay couple has a child where only 1 of the parents is directly related to said child if that parent dies the partner doesn't get the child if a relative wants it. you see why gay people need marriage

I fully support equal rights. If two people love each other, gender doesn't and shouldn't matter. Two gay men or women getting married doesn't affect me, or should it affect anyone else. What DOES affect me, is inequality of rights. I will stand vehemently by my gay friends and support them until everyone is treated equally.

If your partner died when you weren't married but you were together for 20 or so years any of their living relatives have a claim to their property over you. If a gay couple has a child where only 1 of the parents is directly related to said child if that parent dies the partner doesn't get the child if a relative wants it. you see why gay people need marriage

Everyone who voted in support of Prop 8, everyone in every other state who voted against legalizing gay marriage- they are responsible. @thegirlnextdoor8634 Look, politics isn't an instant gratification system. Ideas take years to be passed into law and people are working on repealing DADT as we type, as well as furthering equal marriage initiatives. Obama doesn't have a gay rights wand he can just wave to make everything better.

I do pity you for your state of mind, as there is something certainly wrong. But I also understand you and I wish you get help as soon as possible. NARTH study reveals that homosexuals are prone to psychological symptoms and substance abuse. This all comes in line with their mental offspring.

@ines1loop What you read is simply wrong. There is no such prove that homosexuality is not a choice, but it is a good justification for the gay deviancy from the natural urges and corrupt life. Gays use that argument in promoting their sexual identity. Who with pride need to promote his sexual identity yet? A loving beings? Or those obsessed with sex and flesh. I agree it is not a mental disease nor I would ever send one to therapist. But it is a mental or spiritual problem, and very serious one
