Where did Hangul come from?

So the reasoning is - Koreans are dumber that's why they need Hangul, while Chinese are smarter because they all use Chinese? Are you sure that's the kind of argument you want to make for your language?

@ibitoshi listen, Jap. Chinese letter system is one of the most ineffuricient writing systems in the world since it's a picture letter. Japanese tried to make their own writing system mimicing Chinese, but it's very primitive not having vowels and consonants: it's just another picture letter. Korean is the only invented writing system having consonants and vowels. If you envy, just say yes. you ignorant

@donsonmd japanese does have consonants and vowels. the only bad thing is they have only like 9 vowels, and they don't have ending consonants except for -ng and -t. that's about it, not flexible in terms of pronunciation so it makes it harder for them to pronounce other languages. Chinese letters are hard memorize, making the illiteracy rate there really high. Korean is very efficient, has plenty of vowels, consonants, and easier for people to learn (they have 99% literacy)

korean didnt' invent chinese!! oh, my gosh! chinese appeared long long long~~~ time ago than hangul, korean language. so we use chinese character even now. plus! Confucious is 魯國人 in the late 'Spring and Autumn Period', China. Never related to korean;;;;;;;;;

Korean history is actually about 4000~5000. The people who are saying 10000years, is that they added period when people used bronze. There has been many cultural evidences discovered in Korea. But generally, or officially Korean historian says 4000~5000 years.

The Chinese Characters is not difficult but too many. To use it well nobles must have spent their pricious time for only the characters at least 20 years!!! So most people can't study those characters. You know they have their own job.
