hola, john i really like the vids,, i have a few questions.. what does a hike cost, doing the hike on a tight schedule did u enjoy it, and whats ur opinion on section hiking?
glad you liked the vids. Cost depends on what type of hike you want to do. If you camp/shelter ever night, and don't stay at too many hostels or hotels, you could probably do it for $2000. I spent about $5000 but I splurged a bit in towns and on food/gear. I have a bunch of questions/answers about my thru-hike over on my trailjournals site.
Sorry, I haven't watched any of your other videos but I am just wondering if you made it back in time? When did you leave and how long did it take? I might also have to be back near aug if I go. Thanks!
I left on May 1st 2007 and finished August 15th. It took me 107 days including the 6 day break I took in the middle (during which I recorded this video)
