  • Thank you so much! I live this gun but the battery was a HUGE pita! Thanks again!

  • Thank you so much, my mate and I just tried for half an hour and this video made it possible installing the battery.

    thanks angain,

    greetings from austria.

  • You can fit a 9.6v mini in one side in the channel and looks like its perfect for a 9.6v until you try and close it, there is just a few mm to much length but do not fear.... I slid of the plastic end caps from both ends of the MINI 9.6v 1500mha i have and it fits and the fore grip closes perfect.

Woopy, you can use mini 9.6vs :D

  • y would it not fit what can u put in smaller then a 8.4

  • with this be able to fit a 9.6 intellect with 8 cells? Just ordered it but if not its cool! Please let me know man! Thanks in advance!

  • I haven't tried it myself but it looks like the side panels should accommodate a 9.6 using the same method i use in this vid.

let me know if it works.

  • i tried putting in the 9.6v 8cell 1600mah. it did not work so well. I had to get the same 9.6 8cell but in a nunchuck configuration and its perfect

  • Quick questions, are all "8.4v mini battery" the same size?

I'd like to buy one but I'm worried it wont fit. (The nunchuck is such a PITA...)

  • I believe there are only two form factors for the batteries: Mini and Large types.

For example, the nunchuks i saw are using the Mini type cells but combine 2 of them to provide more mAh.

So you should be ok with any 7 cells mini.

For reference i used an "Intellect" 8.4v battery.

  • how long will you have to charge that battery?

  • UR ARE AMAZING SIR TY I bought 2 8.4 1500 mah mini types and i was so pissed cause i could not get them to fit TY so much

  • You sir are a good man! This will help a lot of folks. The tape is a great idea. Those with trouble should do this. It really helps.

As an alternative if this method is too hard for people to do, you could grab either a 7.4v-11.1v 1500-1800mah Lithium Polymer. Battery. Since LiPos are smaller and lighter they are great for this sort of thing. Read up and learn before you buy one though. They take a lot of care to keep you and your gun safe.

  • Ok i need you to do this for me, figuer our how to take my battery and rewire it from the stock to the forgrip

  • You are a god... THANK YOU!!!

  • YES!

  • OMG it fits!!!!!

You sir have earned much win there.
