  • is this will ferrell singing

  • @kingvic97 Its Sting from his Police days.

  • In Soviet Russian, kettlebells exercise you.

  • i would call it a camel toe instead

  • That looks hard as hell!

  • this looks like problems for the knees...what is this exercise supposed to improve?

  • very hard legs-working!

  • kosacs would be very happy...

  • wow! a doctor who is actually fit and healthy looking.....cool.

  • luv her long time

  • i want you!

  • very smooth transistions in the cossack.

  • I think this 'Kossack' exercise would be most effective for improving "ass to grass" squat mobility. Plus the added KB load seems to help 'squeeze' her into a good bottom position (as long as the lower back's natural curvature isn't compromised.)

  • i wouldnt think the exercise did ne hting for lateral movement cuz the whole point is to use the whole leg together even in that direction. noticed how she had trouble standing up laterally????

  • got a few kettlebell videos myself - please sub

  • I reckon I could do this

    I'll try it later.

    lawl

  • why so much clothes

  • shiiiiiieeeeeet! ;)

  • Very impressive exercise done by an impressive woman. What muscle groups are exercised by this technique? If anyone knows, please pass the information along. Thanks

  • @AdDonald9 what is she not using during that excercise?

  • Perfect !! love it love it ..<3

  • i could wacth her do that all day

  • mmmmmmmm wow..

  • She is a total babe!

  • I feel funny now. And not ha-ha funny.

  • Hello Dr. Courtney

    Will you marry me?

  • Holy shit! Her legs are perfect!

  • beautifull form doctor

  • way cool got a new variation for stretching now.

  • sexy =)

  • christ. i got a hernia just watching that.

  • dfjjdfkljadkfj

  • damn.

  • if you live in the uk and would like to get into kettel bell traning visit gireik-uk com

  • I'll bet thats she can do a perfect straddle split !

  • OMG these kettle bell workouts look hard. not sure i am up to it but good to know

  • Knees are in the strongest position standing straight up or in a deep squat. 90 degrees is the worse place to stop under load.

  • Shes so light, flexible, and lean... Thats why her knees aren't titanium yet.

  • Awesome!

  • any sports medicine people out there? doesn't that cause shearing force on the knee joint once you break 90 degrees? I'm not saying you shouldn't squat down, but with extra weight, maybe this isn't good?

  • Not really, the knee isn't going out much farther than the toes and her cossack rests on the heal during the low position.

  • The knee is meant to bend, as long as your not pushing your knee out over your toes you won't be sheering your knee.

  • Ah, OK. Thanks. What is your opinion on full-range squats?

  • @carbonlaminate

Do them! I can't post the link here. But look up "Deep Squat" safety on google. There's a couple of things to keep in mind, like keeping your toes pointed the same direction as your knees, making sure the weight comes down on your hips instead of knees, and practicing with light weights before you move up. Otherwise, you are practicing the joints full range of motion. The 45 degree stopping point is actually where the LCL and MCL are the least supportive!

  • @notquite9

Actually you can push your knee over your toes. Your ligaments are engaged fully when you are in this position. The trick is to have the majority of the weight away from your knees. Which is why you make sure you absorb the weight with your butt and hips on a deep squat. Its only dangerous if A) your toes are not in line with your knees, and B) If you were to place all the weight towards your knees.

  • If you have the flexibility it is ok, and healthy to have a full squat,....Look at a baby squat!

    Fitness Trainer

    Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

  • no, just think about it, what makes that position different from say an upright position with weights? the human body was made to move that way. Take babies as an example look at how they squat when they pick up stuff, then as we spend more time sitting on couches and being inactive we lose that flexibility. Squatting deep is a lot better for joint integrity

  • i pick up kettlebells with my teeth!!

  • Comment removed

  • @MrPaokHooligan sometimes? you have to use them ALL the time and its supposed to be hard, by the way its kettlebell not ball

  • I feel my technical understanding of the principles involved would be enhanced if I could just have a sniff of those shorts.

  • @loki1066 funny cunt

  • LOL!

  • great form used here

  • i love Asians

  • what kind of a doctor is she!?

  • @darkside3704 lmao!

  • i think this exercise may stress the knees too much.

    yeah?

  • oh no i'm sure she had no clue that it would turn the guys on

  • She is very good, this is a safe exercise. I have been doing this since I was a kid 12 years old, I am 50 and still practice it. RKC instructors have great form and are in top shape, and she is RKC II.

  • shes really hot though, im intrested in using the kettle bells but im not really to keen on a good work out pace or a routine. im new to the gym after being just naturally built but i wanan get strong. any idea's?

  • Sounds to me like you want results without the effort. Instant gratification doesn't cut it it gettting fit. If you want results, you have to work for it. Why is it that people want the world but don't want to work for it? Your not entitled to anything you don't work for.

  • BONER ALERT.

  • @BobbyQuickdraw Lol i wish she was my doctor!

  • So you think you are hot stuff? Thats good but I think I can top it.

  • Pointless since the average American male cannot stretch their legs to that extreme, maybe not even some women as well.

  • Very nice, albeit no Tamilee Webb. If you don't know Tamilee, web search "The big beautiful bottom of Tamilee Webb" for videos where she really shows off her incredible body.

  • It looks like potential for knee problems here. Especially if the person has significant gastroc and hamstring development. She can get away with it, but bigger folks......I don't think so.

  • Yeah !, i'd be worried about my knees bending the wrong way !, but i bet she'd get away with just about anything ;))

  • Or it could prevent knee injuries by strengthening your joints through a wider range of motion. It's usually guys who don't work on their flexibility at all that end up with these injuries.

  • That's partially right, but I'm talking about when the gastroc meets the hamstring and forces the knee apart in the exteme hyperflexion phase. It also compresses the menisci quite a bit more as well and may lead to something like a bucket-handle tear. I'm all for a good full range, and probably more than hit the gastroc/ham, but this chick is planting the heel to the rear. I'm sure s afew people can get away with that, but how many?

  • It's all about knowing your body and knowing your limit. If you haven't workedp to that level of strength and flexibility, then you shouldn't try it. If someone can do, then leave them alone

  • Yeah. I'd say those are too many athletes' famous last words. Especially since I'm talking mostly about wear and tear type injury. But I'm sure there is a very small percentage of people who can do this continually unscathed. All of slight build.

  • Also it's a girl performing the exercise, females are more flexible and have more dexterity in their joints than men do, which means they can do a lot of moves that most men can't.

  • Sick flexability

  • Very good. Control, strength, fluidity...and sorry but I must say she is hot!

  • HAHAHA. I just read the last two comments, one's serious about kettlebells and exploring the method of exercise then the next one just says "I'd hit that". Talk about yin and yang. Oh, and kettlebells rock.

  • Great presentation. The stretch possibilities are without limits with kettlebells. We will be exploring this method of exercise ourselves and hope to add and document much to the repertoire of these exercises. Great job.

  • i'd hit that

  • that is sooo sexy!

  • i wanna test her leg strength ;)

  • amen to that

  • she's so hot.

  • Great! Steady. Controlled. Well done.

  • this looks like a great workout. only thing i dont like about this video is the fact that her knees pass her toes. very bad for the knee joint, which may take a toll on them later on down in life. other than that awesome.

  • "knees past toes" is a myth. As long as ankle, knee and hips are correctly aligned, and it's not huring or causing discomfort it's ok

  • im an exercise physiologist. its called sheer force.

  • There's a POSSIBILITY for knee problems down the road its not that likely. The sheer force issue could be debated but I don't think she's using enough external weight to cause this. Cool vid and exercise I'll probably try it as a warm up move.

  • V.good, a very well conditioned body. Now where do I start...

  • Yep, *Very* usable . . . ah heck, I can't think of anything original to add. But I would like to hear a testimony from her husband/boyfriend!

  • I can see that this type of training will produce VERY Useable Strength. Nice post, thanks.

  • My thoughts exactly. some *very* useable strength.

  • God I'd love to have her knee health -- Great Job Young-One :)

  • @NMCK69 going that slow and going in a direction contrary to the weights resistance is useless. like trying to bench a barbell standing up and expecting it to train ur chest.....

  • The fact that you still do legpress shows you have no education in training. Leg press is no more then a rehab exercise or if your a competative body builder but even they tend to use more inverted for isolation of the quadraceps. Leave the proper training to the people who read more then "getbig" mags

  • Thats awesome a kickboxer (female) does that with a military press on each end crazy shoulder strength and balance and that doesnt even count the flexibility great smooth movements

  • Try it, then report back.

  • I just tried it (unweighted, obviously). I can do it, but I can see how it would be awesome for flexibilty.

I stick with squats for developing leg strength. But that little exercise there is so nifty I think I'm add it to my warm up routine.

  • damn.....

  • Yum Yum ! love those bells

  • great stuff

  • wow

  • OK, first of all, she has quite a bit of strength and coordination to pulloff a feet like that. Good job. And second of all, she is lovely as well. Beauty, brains (a doctor no less), AND athletic as well? That's too good to be true!

  • I will be adding this one to my warm up and stretches in the future. Hopefully this will help me get to doing a full split in the future.

  • mjcsifu- Do you think that this strengthens the quadraceps tendons?

  • While the quad tendons do receive some benefit, the majority of the strengthening occurs throughout the adductors & the hamstrings, as well as the external hip rotators. Done with a strong, straight spinal posture, you can also see how this improves strength and flexibility in the spine as well.

  • That looks hard!

  • man i never thought to do those shits with weight in mty hands.

  • Hot and fit! Good job on the cossacks Courtney.

  • Yup, KBLA's got the hottest girls in our ranks. No question! :)

  • Do you think that this strengthens the quadraceps tendons?

  • I definitely would...

  • Damned. That's a great exercise. Thanks for sharing.
