my understanding that there were long periods where beings did not consume life energy from other beings due to total allowance of self acceptance of being one with source and thus the habit of eating had not yet been invented and so deeply believed in as being essential.
Hi - thanks for this video. I understand you don't recommend dairy because of conventional production methods and hormones etc. Do you recommend the use of organic dairy products? And is there any other reason to avoid dairy? I heard its not good for the lymphatic system - is this true?
@MyAeq look up videos on raw milk and how pasteurization damages the milk, and you'll see why he doesn't recommend it. I actually think raw grass fed milk is good, as well as yoghurt made in the traditional way. It's just hard to find because it's illegal in most states. That's why he was saying buy your own goat or cow. (you can also buy a share of a cow... that's one loop hole)
Great overview. Even science acknowledges that our teeth are not suited for a carnivorous diet but a vegetarian diet. It blew my mind when I heard that the apple has an estimated 12,000 micronutrients. And that without the micronutrients the body struggles to assimilate essential vitamins and minerals. It seems that my children's multivitamin didn't do me any favors.
I respect what your doing and love your videos and your perspective on life, but I rather enjoy milk, fish, eggs, and chicken. I do eat the and drink the closest foods to nature I can get and I juice all the time and eat tons of fruits and veggies, but I just can't see how people go without eating meats. Just my personal opinion. I box and fruits and veggies just don't cut it for me. Keep it up Dan, you rock.
@TheNobleBard the reason why anthropologists say that is because the agricultural revolution has caused the human diet to be less diversified. When we were hunters and gatherers we ate hundreds of different species of plants and animals. Now the average diet contains mostly corn and other grains. Also, eating veggies and fruits is what we should be eating I took an athropology course and my professor stated that human teeth are actually designed to eat fruit.
Why are raw foodists like this guy so flaky? Is it because they fried their brain an so much drugs before they became raw foodists; Or is it because they develop a squirrel's brain from eating a squirrel's diet?
Spinach: second highest food in oxalic acid (first highest: "wild spinach"=lamb's quarter). Oxalic acid turns to salt in your body, but it is broken down by cooking. Foods are--sometimes--cooked for real important reasons.
Our distinct blood types are said to have developed by the foods our ancient ancestors ate, given the particular place they lived and the foods that were available to them there.
It's about nutrition. Top food: Spirulina? Second top food: raw cacao? Next, maybe: raw honey.

I also have a question. I am allergic to many fruits and all tree nuts. I didn't used to be. I developed this allergy around 13 years old. I am allergic to bananas, watermelon, well all melons, kiwi, blue berries, and cantelopes. Is there maybe some way of changing my diet to help that? I actually have issues with breathing and my throat swells shut when I eat these foods. Watermelone juice on my arm will break into a rash. It just doesn't seem right? These are natural? Any suggestions?
@jtscreenit Hi, a used to have very big problem with the food I consummend. So I went to the doctor - the ano he also practised MACROBIOTISM: AND? Does this guy even know what he's talking about? Does he have an education in nutrition to back any of this up? Sounds like he's just spouting off. Not to mention, he's forgotten the need to make complete proteins in the diet, individual diet needs (everyone is different), and what role allergies play in the human diet. And scientifically speaking what defines something as being alive (hello, plants are alive too).
@satsuma12 Every fruit and vegetable is a complete protein, just get enough calories in and you will have no problems. Allergies can be by passed by just eating a different plant your not allergic to. Plants are alive just like animals you say? How can you prove that? Any science that support sentient plant theory with nerve ends? :) As for science, it is proven as far as humans can prove anything, that a plant based diet is superior to a meat based diet.
@Mekelsior Fruits and vegetables do not provide complete proteins. The only way to get a complete protein is by eating rice and beans. All other proteins are partial. I was vegan for 10yrs and vegetarian for 4 prior to that. I was by no means a person who took her nutrition lightly or ate crap. Yes, take a biology course and you'll be informed. If someone's diet is compromised by major allergies; so is there nutrition.
@Mekelsior Satsuma12 is probably just a bit upset because of their ditching of a healthy diet (probably because they missed putting in the death). "Complete proteins" presumably meaning containing all essential amino acids, can be obtained through eating a variety of different raw foods with each individual amino acid in them. :)
@Mr15NightsInBangkok You are correct, but the picture is also more like this, if you eat enough calories in any given plant food, you will gain enough proteins.. so you can eat 30 bananas a day and get all the amino acids you need. It is however easier for most just to combine a couple.. such as grains and legumes. :) But yeah, there is no problem with being a vegetarian or vegan. :)
Hey man you gotta a great style! Keep on keeping it casual yet very informative. I like the common sense approach, it's something I'm seeing lost more and more. Cheers
I've had trouble with either kale or linseeds or both when having them in smoothie, the smoothie turns into this extremely "electrical" tasting, horrible stuff that can't be eaten, I did twice and I got feeling sick, cold sweat running everywhere, and couldn't excercise, so I stopped using them. @GreenMindist Could be allergy, could be that you took to much.. ease into it.. you don`t need so much flax seeds, half a tea spoon a day is more than enough.. I do it once in a while. @missbutter81 as a natural humyn being, you would NOT eat seafood. it's hard to get, very salty, and now in modern days, VERY toxic. eat fruit feel beaut baby
maybe hes just starting out going the fruit and vegetable way. You wanna give your body time to transition from meat and nuts to fruits and vegetables.
I have never felt compelled to comment on any video until I ran across yours. I want to first say "Thank you," as your videos are truly inspirational and speak truth. That is hard to come by. I am very much in tune with what you're saying, and I am relieved to have found you when I started to doubt myself and what I inherently know. Keep up what you do. I'll continue to watch and support you, on youtube and in heart and spirit. Love.
Raw diet is not for everyone, but what's important is that we realize how important it is to add more fruits and vegetables into our diet and drastically reduce the dairy and meat as much as possible. Doing this will have a huge positive impact upon your health. Sometimes if the Raw diet doesn't work for you right away it's because you need to start smaller try vegan first.
If you talked to most anthropologists and asked them what the worst part of human history is, they would tell you it's the agricultural revolution. There's a reason we eat meat. It's because millions of years of human evolution dictate it.
@TheNobleBard Why eat the rotting flesh of a dead corps when you don't have to? The ice age is over! The time of homospiritus has arrived! Evolve or die...
@liferegenerator Here's the thing, we actually got less healthy when we started eating a lot of the foods you listed. You speak of evolution as if it can happen immediately. It doesn't. It takes millions of generations for a noticeable change to occur. So not eating meat is actually doing you more harm than good. It's not like not eating meat is suddenly going to improve your health because you dictate it to. There's an imperative from nature. We eat meat because nature tells us to. Period.
@liferegenerator For anyone who's skeptical, there are a couple of channels and or movies I'd recommend. Undergroundwellness have some really good videos on why eating fat doesn't make you fat. In fact eating things like rice, for example do make you fat. There's a movie called Fat Head which shows that not only Fat is and should be part of a healthy diet without which we die, but also debunks the myths about fast food. Before we cared about health, we care about survival. Meat is good for us.
@TheNobleBard I wouldnt put it past meat companies and fast food corporations to create confusion in order to keep the money rolling in. MSG wrecks your brain. Meat is acid forming which lowers oxygen levels so that your PH level is shit and youre more susecptible to disease. Vegetables alkalize. What is the meaningful evidence other than "evolution" to suggest we HAVE to eat meat?
@TheAmericanOriginal Are you a registered dietitian? Where are you getting your information from? Is being a vegetarian/vegan good for the planet? Yes. Is it possible to do? Yes. Is it very difficult to do. Absolutely. There are certain vitamins, minerals and other important nutrients that you quite frankly can't get from a vegetable diet alone. If you talk to almost any registered dietitian they will tell you that you HAVE to take at least some from of Supplement along with being a vegetarian.
@TheNobleBard Who do dietitians have to "register" with? That makes me wonder, since much of the ideal medical imformation tends to be filtered out by corporate interest. Anyways I'm not vegetarian at all, I do believe animals can be our food but I also know its not necessarily protein but amino acids that we need.
@TheNobleBard You mentioned myths about fast food being debunked. Since the practical view of it is that its bad for you, I assume this debunking is to prove its not as bad as it seems. The thing is that its independent studies done on fast food and groceries containing glutamic acid, (or ingredients that behave in a similar way) that say its bad. The studies that give these foods the O-K were funded by the manufacturers themselves so that makes the process somewhat suspicious
@TheAmericanOriginal The reason you have to take a supplement is because it's not chemically possible to be healthy on a diet as described by this man. You need the protein, the enzymes from meat that you just can't get without either a supplement or actually eating it. There's my argument. What I'm saying is your should eat high quality, organic meats. No MSG, no Acid. No problems.
@liferegenerator Why eat the rotting flesh of a corps when we dont have to? Well, is it really any less moral than eating exotic fruits shipped from across the globe? You may at a first glance say yes, but if you eat a locally grown steak, you end the life of one cow to feed yourself for weeks or months. If you eat exotic fruits, they must be shipped through an airplane as not to spoil. The airplane will cause lots of polution which leads to acid rain. This acid rain poisons the plants...
@liferegenerator ...which then poisons the bugs who eat them, who then poison the small mammals, and up the food chain, killing all sorts of things. We can't exist without taking life in some form, as you already said. I am not promoting meat consumption, but it's just something to think about. I have great respect for what you do and all the people you help and mean no offense by this, it is just something to think about...
@TheNobleBard It is a misconception that humans evolved to eat meat, it is a misconception to say that we evolved from microbes but that is another debate. The human body is designed to consume fruit and vegetables, there is nothing in the human body that states we thrive on a meat diet. Try eat only meat and no vegetables for a month (RAW if you believe your own theory..) and test your blood work before and after and see if has improved. Then do 60 days Raw and do the same test. <3
@TheNobleBard The agricultural revolution is also the reason why you have the internet and civs in general. The idea however that mankind "evolved" on meat is not only flawed in it`s most basic fundamentals but is based on old knowledge, so even the evolutionist today believes that the diet of ancient man were more diverse than we give credit. If millions of years dicate that we eat meat, then why are we so poor at thriving on it? Why do we get more sick now than on vegetarian and vegan diets?
@TheNobleBard if you look at the human body, it really is not evolved to eat meat. most importantly of all the digestive track is not set up to deal with breacking down of meat, resulting in it not being broken down fully or fast enough, leading to a ripe enviroment for desease to take hold. we, (meat eaters) are rotting from inside!! huurrrrrr horrible! :O
Hello, i was wandering in wonder about what you thought about lightly steamed organic carrots, or the many beneficial elements to eating slow cooked wild salmon? i believe that not only are healthy foods good , but also things like talking about problems, and learning to understand and write poetry, this is where i have found my true self ---------of the eternal silence: truthes that wake,/ To perish never----Wordsworth
remember modern dairy comes from animals mostly fed by grain, not grass as nature intended . It can even be organic and free-range but the whole grain diet really messes with the poor cows and goats =(. I like your idea of owning animals but if you can't afford, find a reliable farmer. Remember - organic, grass fed, free range, local and not some major corporation.
Awesome videos, helping me make the all raw switch...im 60% raw noe 40% vegan foods....Dan plz make merchandise so i can skateboard down the sidewalk with a dan the man tshirt on;D
@BigDaddyFady But if you eat all those dead animal corpses then you will get the diseases that everyone is getting when they have excess animal protein in the body! Why would we all want to be sick by eating all that death?
@saltfan2 He doesn't need to... they are already raw foodists designed specifically to eat raw meat... so they do that very well. Dan is a Homo Sapien and omnivorous and has developed a more highly evolved brain and makes more choices with it. He has learnt that protein in does not equal protein add but rather protein breakdown to constituent chains to then rebuild as protein add... and so goes straight for the chains if he can... check the smooth naturally ripped build... no doubt.
@liferegenerator Meat is good for you. It's an essential part of the human diet. Period. You can eat all the nuts you want but in the end we need meat. Without meat humans would have died off long ago because we never would have survived the ice age.
@liferegenerator You are going to age faster due to lack of quality protein. Also your theory of the amino acids of plant foods is nonsense.(plant foods have proteins too) So is the "too much fat" thing.
@BigDaddyFady And that comes with the territory of plenty of fatal diseases which you can just look around and see those diseases taking folks life each and everyday..Veggies and Fruits prevent those diseases...Raw for life bro.
@jgfergus Don't do the species or animal argument... that is stupid when either side does that. We eat rabbit vegetation, lions, tigers, and bears eat meat. They could tear most of those animals apart. It doesn't matter though, the argument is stupid. And a lot of those "vegetarian" animals have extra fat deposits because they don't need built bodies to hunt.
@BigDaddyFady Eating them Raw of course must be the best.. go out there naked and hunt them down. :) Is it not what we "evolved" to eat? ;) Just joking with you of course. There is no science to support your list however.. I go by the science. ;)
i'm totally with you but let's just say that the average life expectancy in the past (where they ate mostly living things fruit/veg etc) was substantially lower than it is today. The argument is today medicine is so much more advanced etc. However you are saying that by eating these foods we don't need modern medicine.. So? Just saying.
But I'm totally with you man - love watching you videos and definitely going to be making some serious changes for myself.
Regarding kale it's not that easy to get. The only kind we get here in Austria is called Wirsing and I can't stay this kind of kale. I have lived somewhere else before and there I could get Dinosaur kale and curly kale and I have to say I really miss them as they were my favourite.
Hi, Dan! Thank you very much for the information. All your videos are very useful for me. I'm from Bulgaria (it's in Europe) , and unfortunately all tropical fruits are very expencive here :( I'd like to live on a tropical island. :) ok, I eat a lot of germs and I feel great! Greetings!
Hi Dan, If only people could see how true this is I've been delaying my life for so long and now you gave me my confidence back and soon I'll tell you how it feels to be alive again!
Thank you for this precious information I think this is what I needed to get me started. Love & Light!
@MsLiberty101: I hear you BIG time on this. I grew up drinking milk and cheese. Totally off the milk now (kind of happened on its own), but cheese and crackers are unbelievable. I'm workin' it out, literally.

@Mu5clehead Hi, I used to think the same about needing animal protein, but check out the video channels of NATURESFITNESSMODEL, da1sinister1 and others like that. These guys are fit and healthy and natural, and not killing themselves with their lifestyles.

hi dan! can you tell me number 6 again? it sounds like "cal" .. i am not american or britisch and i dont know what it is. if i had the word i can look it up in the internet :) thank you very much!
Interesting..I would considered Kale bewteen 1-4, also I noticed carrots did not make the list.
Also for summer runs what would you recommend adding with cucumber juice for keeping the body core temp in check and fighting against heat exhaustion/cramps?
has anyone told you,yet that you got the nicholas cage look kickin...good vid dan :) :
How am i suppose to know what to eat exactly? as long as i have a green smoothie and eat alot of different fruits (oranges, grapes, bananas, apples) and a little bit of avocado and nuts everyday, ill be good right?
I have a question: I'm buying a good juicer, and I wonder what I should juice together as cocktails. I know certain foods shouldn't be mixed because they have different digestive requirements and possibly for other reasons. Do you have any recommendations for recipes? Especially for energy and brain function and muscle development...
I heard that no fruits or veggies can really be considered "high fibre" after they've been juiced, because the actual "fibre" has been stripped away. For instance, a person who is diabetic is better to consume whole fruit than fruit juice because the fibre in the fruit helps release sugars into the body gradually. Is this true?
Does anybody know if fishoil with omega 3 highly consentrated is going to help loose fat? Or is it bad because it has long chaines of aminoacids (or whatever its called?)
Good and helpful video with nice nuggets about what benefits each thing does! One thing that I was hoping to see is Flax, I do feel like Flax is a superfood with the omega-3 and good for digestion/bowels, maybe you could do a vid on Flax if you haven't already done one in the past. Blueberries are also a superior anti-oxidant, but more costly and less readily available.
thank you

How do you only eat fruits and vegetables without starving yourself? Doesn't muscle get ripped away at you if you are starving and don't eat meat?
How can you learn to detoxify when eating only fruits and vegetables will put you at a starvation risk to rip away all your organ muscle?
CBasie2856 9 months ago

TheNobleBard 1 year ago
@TheNobleBard Why eat the rotting flesh of a dead corps when you don't have to? The ice age is over! The time of homospiritus has arrived! Evolve or die...
liferegenerator 1 year ago 36
@liferegenerator Here's the thing, we actually got less healthy when we started eating a lot of the foods you listed. You speak of evolution as if it can happen immediately. It doesn't. It takes millions of generations for a noticeable change to occur. So not eating meat is actually doing you more harm than good. It's not like not eating meat is suddenly going to improve your health because you dictate it to. There's an imperative from nature. We eat meat because nature tells us to. Period.
TheNobleBard 1 year ago
@liferegenerator For anyone who's skeptical, there are a couple of channels and or movies I'd recommend. Undergroundwellness have some really good videos on why eating fat doesn't make you fat. In fact eating things like rice, for example do make you fat. There's a movie called Fat Head which shows that not only Fat is and should be part of a healthy diet without which we die, but also debunks the myths about fast food. Before we cared about health, we care about survival. Meat is good for us.
TheNobleBard 1 year ago
@TheNobleBard I wouldnt put it past meat companies and fast food corporations to create confusion in order to keep the money rolling in. MSG wrecks your brain. Meat is acid forming which lowers oxygen levels so that your PH level is shit and youre more susecptible to disease. Vegetables alkalize. What is the meaningful evidence other than "evolution" to suggest we HAVE to eat meat?
TheAmericanOriginal 11 months ago
@TheAmericanOriginal Are you a registered dietitian? Where are you getting your information from? Is being a vegetarian/vegan good for the planet? Yes. Is it possible to do? Yes. Is it very difficult to do. Absolutely. There are certain vitamins, minerals and other important nutrients that you quite frankly can't get from a vegetable diet alone. If you talk to almost any registered dietitian they will tell you that you HAVE to take at least some from of Supplement along with being a vegetarian.
TheNobleBard 11 months ago
@TheNobleBard Who do dietitians have to "register" with? That makes me wonder, since much of the ideal medical imformation tends to be filtered out by corporate interest. Anyways I'm not vegetarian at all, I do believe animals can be our food but I also know its not necessarily protein but amino acids that we need.
TheAmericanOriginal 11 months ago
@TheNobleBard You mentioned myths about fast food being debunked. Since the practical view of it is that its bad for you, I assume this debunking is to prove its not as bad as it seems. The thing is that its independent studies done on fast food and groceries containing glutamic acid, (or ingredients that behave in a similar way) that say its bad. The studies that give these foods the O-K were funded by the manufacturers themselves so that makes the process somewhat suspicious
TheAmericanOriginal 11 months ago
@TheAmericanOriginal The reason you have to take a supplement is because it's not chemically possible to be healthy on a diet as described by this man. You need the protein, the enzymes from meat that you just can't get without either a supplement or actually eating it. There's my argument. What I'm saying is your should eat high quality, organic meats. No MSG, no Acid. No problems.
TheNobleBard 11 months ago
@TheNobleBard Avocado and nuts are full of healthy fats.

This acid rain poisons the plants...
frodosauce 11 months ago
@liferegenerator ...which then poisons the bugs who eat them, who then poison the small mammals, and up the food chain, killing all sorts of things. We can't exist without taking life in some form, as you already said. I am not promoting meat consumption, but it's just something to think about. I have great respect for what you do and all the people you help and mean no offense by this, it is just something to think about...
frodosauce 11 months ago
@liferegenerator Homospiritus thats great!!!
Myflesh101 5 months ago
@TheNobleBard It is a misconception that humans evolved to eat meat, it is a misconception to say that we evolved from microbes but that is another debate. The human body is designed to consume fruit and vegetables, there is nothing in the human body that states we thrive on a meat diet. Try eat only meat and no vegetables for a month (RAW if you believe your own theory..) and test your blood work before and after and see if has improved. Then do 60 days Raw and do the same test. <3
Mekelsior 8 months ago
@TheNobleBard The agricultural revolution is also the reason why you have the internet and civs in general. The idea however that mankind "evolved" on meat is not only flawed in it`s most basic fundamentals but is based on old knowledge, so even the evolutionist today believes that the diet of ancient man were more diverse than we give credit. If millions of years dicate that we eat meat, then why are we so poor at thriving on it? Why do we get more sick now than on vegetarian and vegan diets?
Mekelsior 4 months ago
@TheNobleBard if you look at the human body, it really is not evolved to eat meat. most importantly of all the digestive track is not set up to deal with breacking down of meat, resulting in it not being broken down fully or fast enough, leading to a ripe enviroment for desease to take hold. we, (meat eaters) are rotting from inside!! huurrrrrr horrible! :O

USERNAMEDSOBER 1 year ago
remember modern dairy comes from animals mostly fed by grain, not grass as nature intended . It can even be organic and free-range but the whole grain diet really messes with the poor cows and goats =(. I like your idea of owning animals but if you can't afford, find a reliable farmer. Remember - organic, grass fed, free range, local and not some major corporation.

TheNobleBard 1 year ago
@liferegenerator You are going to age faster due to lack of quality protein. Also your theory of the amino acids of plant foods is nonsense.(plant foods have proteins too) So is the "too much fat" thing.
Otherwise this is a great video. :)

88riddlemethis 2 months ago
@jgfergus Don't do the species or animal argument... that is stupid when either side does that. We eat rabbit vegetation, lions, tigers, and bears eat meat. They could tear most of those animals apart. It doesn't matter though, the argument is stupid. And a lot of those "vegetarian" animals have extra fat deposits because they don't need built bodies to hunt.
thespecter2 2 months ago
@BigDaddyFady Eating them Raw of course must be the best.. go out there naked and hunt them down. :) Is it not what we "evolved" to eat? ;) Just joking with you of course. There is no science to support your list however.. I go by the science. ;)

@BigDaddyFady Fruits Greens are the way to go man, I eat meat now and then, but If you really want to clean your body out, plants are the way to go!
5tonyvvvv 5 months ago
i'm totally with you but let's just say that the average life expectancy in the past (where they ate mostly living things fruit/veg etc) was substantially lower than it is today. The argument is today medicine is so much more advanced etc. However you are saying that by eating these foods we don't need modern medicine.. So? Just saying.
But I'm totally with you man - love watching you videos and definitely going to be making some serious changes for myself.
Welcome your comments on my comment

I have a question: I'm buying a good juicer, and I wonder what I should juice together as cocktails. I know certain foods shouldn't be mixed because they have different digestive requirements and possibly for other reasons. Do you have any recommendations for recipes? Especially for energy and brain function and muscle development...
Thanks lots! :)
wireddavinci 1 year ago
I heard that no fruits or veggies can really be considered "high fibre" after they've been juiced, because the actual "fibre" has been stripped away. For instance, a person who is diabetic is better to consume whole fruit than fruit juice because the fibre in the fruit helps release sugars into the body gradually. Is this true?

One thing that I was hoping to see is Flax, I do feel like Flax is a superfood with the omega-3 and good for digestion/bowels, maybe you could do a vid on Flax if you haven't already done one in the past. Blueberries are also a superior anti-oxidant, but more costly and less readily available.
